It’s no surprise I love a good staycation and Nashville has SO many boutique hotels to choose from with a variety of options any tourist would love to visit that I wanted to start doing a little roundup of some of my favorite locales to add as one of your next places to stay the next time you visit Music City.
First up, the Fairlane Hotel. Timeless style meets modern sensibility in this oh so chic building that’s been renovated into a mid-century modern favorite. It combines terrazzo flooring + brass details + wood paneling, too. I love the masculine touches throughout, while still super warm + welcoming as well! It’s located in our downtown business + art district so you’re sure to find lots of options to occupy your time, including a short walk to Broadway, the Gulch and more.
Eat
Ellington’s | For a retro-modern dining experience you can visit the 4th floor of the hotel for some staple dining options like fish and grits, risotto, and delicious steaks. They have both in and outdoor seating options and offer great views and vibes alike.
Bagelshop | For the perfect morning bite, visit the Bagelshop. Open from 8-3pm daily, this is where you’ll find your AM essentials like hand rolled boiled bagels, cookies, coffee and more.
Nash Vice | One of the best parts about the Fairlane is they feature a different themed bar every season. Right now it’s “nash vice” their play on a Miami Vice setting and it’s the perfect backdrop for all the fun + fab cocktails with picture-taking vignettes at every twist and turn.
By the Bottle | Something I believe every hotel should have, the Fairlane offers a wine shop where you can select wines by the bottle or a glass at the lobby bar. They have a rotating selection from independent producers around the world as well.

One of the best things about the Fairlane is the location. The downtown position at the corner of 4th and Union is just 3 blocks away from Broadway and is surrounded by countless hot spots for food and drinks within walking distance. You’ll get to experience the best of our little southern city staying right in the middle of everything!
Sleep
The accommodations couldn’t get much better. With 7 room types to choose from of all different sizes and details, everyone will have the perfect option here. All the rooms have a luxury feel with a retro-modern style = think velvet, moody colors, and cool understated style.
