You know what time it is… January 1st has finally arrived, which means everyone is back in the gym, taking down all the Christmas decor aand thinking about removing ALL the excess clutter from their home sweet home.
OH YES indeed!! If you’ve participated in my January organization challenges before, you know the drill = basically I assign a space/drawer/area/room/etc to knock out EVERY SINGLE DAY of the month. Slackers need not apply because it can be daunting, but man when you finish… you feel free and the excess is gone to someone else who can use it!
This has become one of my favorite blog traditions over the past few years and I am thrilled to see that so many of you were asking about this one again. Nothing starts a new year off like getting organized… I’m giving you plenty of time to cover all the bases and get set to get organized with 31 small daily tasks + challenges! Accountability is key here, so be sure to save this image/favorite it and share on socials as you cross off the daily to-dos and tag me so I can see… and because we all need a little extra incentive to get motivated, there might be giveaways to keep us going as well.
Getting organized is fun.. but getting organized together is even BETTER! As always we are focusing on all things quick and efficient during the weekday we’re talking about tasks that can be completed in 20 minutes or less, leaving no excuse not to get them done [and yes, this is to help me finish the challenge, too]… and because they are simple daily tasks it’s the perfect way to start a habit for the rest of the year!!
As for the weekend obligations, that’s where I’ve assigned the more in-depth cleanouts… your closets, the kitchen pantry, purging photos on your phone, etc. I know those take significantly longer, hence why they were placed on Saturdays + Sundays. And remember, done is better than perfect!!
And if you’re like me, you need a game plan and a few extra accessories to help master the mayheim… I’m sharing a few top organization tools + products to jumpstart your operation organization for a clean + happy home in 2024:
