You may not know BUT our design inspiration for each + every collection I design with Shop Avara starts more than a year before our debut date… I spend weeks sourcing inspiration from all over [home decor + design, fashion runway shows, prints and color palettes I adore] and then create a huge presentation with all my ideas, thoughts, silhouettes and wishlist items I want to create. You can see my overall inspiration board below that I created back in 2024 as a starting point for this new line:
From there, we take our ideas to a few of Avara’s most trusted design houses, where the magic starts to happen. Samples are created, we try everything on, tweak what isn’t working, and sometimes send pieces back to the drawing board. Fast forward almost a year, and we finally get to style them for my photoshoot before bringing them to you to shop on the Shop Avara website. It’s truly a labor of love and one of the most fulfilling career dreams I’ve ever seen come to life—something I am SO passionate about.
