Favorites of 2015 || My Must-Have Purchases

Last year, I started a new tradition on the blog to look back at my “favorites” from 2014… you can read that post here. 

This year, I am back with round two and I’ve been keeping a running tally of things that stood out and were worth sharing with you in the hopes you can find something to add to your list of favorite things, too. 

In the beauty department, this year was all about making smart purchases… ones that last and ones that work for my skin. First up, the gamechanger bronzer that is Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer… it stays on all day, smells divine, and helps keep the “shine” off my face, while still looking natural. As we all know that thick brows are SO in, this Make Beauty Brow Pen helps me fill-in as needed and brighten my eyes… it’s a pen with a fantastic brush so you can do as much or as little as you need. Let’s also add to this list Maybelline’s Baby Lips in Pink Punch. Great for on-the-go touch of color to your lips, keeping them hydrated, and if I lose it [AKA Carson “borrows” it], the $3 price tag doesn’t break the bank. And rounding out the world of beauty, I’ll mention the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer yet again because 1) it keeps your eyeshadow looking fresh all day AND night, 2) has a sheen to it so it gives a bit of shimmer to your eyes, and 3) it makes a great gift. 

When it comes to apparel, bags, and accessories, I had lots of hits this year and a few misses, too [yes, being brutally honest as that one denim jumpsuit was just heinous on!!]… anyways, back to the positives: first up, these Target pajama pants I raved so much about. I ended up buying 3 pair in various colors and rarely take them off. In the same category, I’m still an avid lover of Old Navy’s Activewear line and these Mesh Panel Compression Pants are on constant rotation! And I can’t forget my Navy Blue Milly LSJ Top, Wine Lush Karly Dress, WAYF Tie Front Pleated Dress [now on sale] and Ro & De Black Blouse. 

I added a few [ok, maybe more] new Kendra Scott items to my collection including the Jamie Bracelet in Black Drusy, the Daisy Ring in Green, and the Rayne Necklace in Rose Quartz. 

As for the other great finds, let’s remember the infamous Wine2Go foldable wine bottle,
