Hello and HAPPY Tuesday friends!!! Back at it with a fresh start… a fresh start to my week [yes I may think Monday should get a do-over], my perspective, my to-do list and ready to the the ground running. Since I’ve got all things spring on the brain, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share some incredible cute spring dresses–ones that fit the bill for so many events and occasions, and tons of which are easy on the wallet as well.
Even if you’re a fresh Hello Happiness reader, it’s easy to see how much this gal LOVES a good dress… the easiest ensemble to pick out, versatile to dress up or down, and I’m all about mixing in fun colors, patterns, prints and textures–so I am always looking for new mixes to add to my wardrobe!
5 Cute Spring Dresses for the Season:
First up in our line-up of cute spring dresses is this Chambray Shirt Dress [wearing size small] last week via Instagram and you guys went gaga for it… hands down, it’s a great year-round essential… layer it up with this Fringe Vest [on sale for $39] and Cognac Heels like I did, throw on some simple Spanx leggings and tall boots for chilly days, or find some fun new Spring Wedges like these and wait for warm weather ahead–either way, this versatile dress was made for everyday play.

Moving right along, let’s talk floor length fun! This Wine Showstopper is absolutely incredible in person… I love the wrap detail, the ruffled hem, balloon long sleeves, and the rich hue of this amazing find–and for a formal occasion, the price tag of $128 can’t be beat. I thought my favorite Leopard Heels would be the perfect accessory for this ensemble coupled with my neutral Chaltu Clutch and now I’m ready for my next dressy date night ASAP.

Third in line is this anything but ordinary Black and White Colorblock Dress from one of my favorite women’s designers, Eliza J. Talk about knowing how to fit a woman’s body, I am always OVERLY impressed with their silhouettes, fit and attention to detail in every garment they design. I am wearing a 2 Petite in this style and I love everything about it… perfect as the little black dress for any occasion, but with a twirl factor all on its own that you can make even more special by adding colorful accessories and shoes!

Ready for a little black velvet with a pop of floral?? Then you have met your match! This Burnout Velvet Dress reminds me of all things Free People, yet it’s a steal for just $58… it’s the perfect length with delicate lace detail for the extra touch of femininity and it’s fully lined, too [praise the Lord!]. I’ve paired it with one of my go-to Casual Style Booties for an everyday look, but you could make this more cocktail appropriate with some strappy heels and bold earrings, too.

Finally, let’s give some major love for this Patchwork Mini Sweater Dress. This gorgeous palette of rich hues is such an original find when you’re wanting to make a statement, but still feel like you’re wearing something super comfortable and warm! I found it on major markdown for just $89 [50% off for the win!], too. I love the barely there bell sleeves, the self tie belt for cinching in the waist and of course the mini silhouette that I’m so fond of… another fab find for you friends that aren’t afraid of some color!
