It’s here, it’s
here…the first installment of the Utilmate Wedding Week Link Party! I am so
excited to share some of my favorites from all
things wedding-it wasn’t too long ago, but any reason to relive one of the best
times in my life is reason enough for me. First up, the engagement photos.
It seems like
it was forever ago when Jeff and I met up with our photographers for our engagement shoot. We had plotted with Chris and Adrienne
for weeks on potential locations in and around Nashville, when I asked
them if they thought venturing out to Arrington Vineyards would be a good
choice…turns out, we were the first to shoot there, but definitely not the
last.
that day like it was yesterday…it was a blistering 95 degrees and I can’t lie,
we were miserable because of the humidity and heat, but the end product was
fabulous and we loved so many of the shots that we bought an album to use as our party/shower and wedding guestbook-fabulous decision for handwritten notes from our friends and family, and something you can display, too. Here are just a few of my favorites:
we used our favorite as the inspiration for our save-the-date, which was
designed by the fabulous Joni of Chocolate Butterbean.
advice: wear classic clothes, nothing too trendy as you want these pictures to
last a lifetime and not looked “dated”, bring a few props to pose with {we used
balloons and chalkboards, along with a picnic setup, and it really made the
pictures fit our personalities}, and send your photographers ideas of what you’re
looking for so you can make sure to capture those specific shots you’re dying
to have! Most of all, relax and enjoy yourself!!
Adorable! I was so sad to find that Chris and Adrienne have moved from Nashville. We have been searching for a photographer and it's a tough decision! 🙂
They look gorgeous!
I'm so glad you mentioned classic clothing. I work at a photography studio and we always stress the importance of wearing classic clothing. You can never go wrong with wearing solids and you'll thank yourself 50 years from now 🙂
Great photos, by the way.
Those pictures are simply amazing 🙂
