I know a lot of personal friends that live by the motto “less is more”, but I’ve never been one to experience that kind of life. This gal loves the EXTRA, the sparkle and the icing that makes everyday a lot more fun, and today I am rounding up a handful of beauty favorites from Nordstrom that everyone needs to know about to help combat the heat as things get warmer and wilder during the summer months!

We all want to beat the heat… combat the humidity with incredible conditioning to treat our hair right, setting sprays to lock in that fresh-face look all day long and of course skincare that gives us that subtle glow, so let’s talk through my latest personal delivery + share some goodies you need to add to your makeup must-haves like NOW:

ONE. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Bronzing Powder | Shade 3 Tan: This is my first go at one of the CT bronzers, and I have to say I am hooked… the coverage is incredible [just like my #1 foundation I never leave home without], and it gives you the perfect sun-kissed hue. It’s a matte powder, so you won’t have to worry about shine, and it is finely pigmented for a flawless “filter” face while blurring out skin’s imperfections [like my pesky dark spots!!]. To apply, I use this Artis Oval 8 Brush that is perfect for blending. P.S. this also acts as a GREAT contouring powder to define, so it’s a total two-in-one.

TWO. Dior Addict Stellar Shine Lipstick | Shade Positivity: If that happy hue lipstick isn’t right up my alley, it’s like this bold summer color was made for me. Unparalleled shine in a tube lipstick = great for gals on the go who want long-lasting color with all the aloe vera and oils to keep our pores protected and hydrated during summer!

THREE. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick | Shade Amber: I stumbled upon this gem of a contouring wand a few months ago and I LOVE how easy it is to apply. It’s waterproof–so it’s ideal for summer– and the stick gives the coverage of your go-to concealer with the fluidity of a liquid and the weightlessness of a powder. You can obviously use it as a foundation, but I love to use it for my easy peasy contouring when you’re trying to get out of the house quickly. My favorite part?? The triangle design for perfectly angled facial features.

FOUR. Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish | Shade Latte: If there is one thing I know, it’s how to get the perfect summer faux glow. This was my first time ordering this brand of instant color lotion after seeing so many other beauty bloggers recommend it, and I’ve been super impressed with how it covers spots on your legs while giving you that just back from the beach hue to your skin. Even more exciting was that it didn’t transfer onto my clothing, so feel free to lather up before putting on your favorite summer sundress. I apply with a tanning mitt so you don’t get too much on your hands, and be sure to apply in a circular motion as to avoid any streaks!

FIVE. Laura Mercier Blurring Pure Canvas Primer | I’m usually an Hourglass girl when it comes to priming my skin, but I’ve heard rave reviews about this blurring option, so I grabbed it online. I love that it mattes my skin instantly–because I tend to get shiny in the summer–and it definitely blurs my skin to balance any unevenness… even better, it only takes a dime-sized amount for your entire face, so this is going to last awhile.

SIX. Marc Jacobs Daisy Spray Pen | One of my long-time fragrance loves is Daisy from Marc Jacobs. It’s clean and feminine without being overly floral and a great all-day scent for warm weather. I grabbed the mini spray style so I can toss it in my bag when I need a little mid-day refresh!

SEVEN. Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara | With summer comes ALL the water activities and this is THE best waterproof mascara I’ve found… it’s also sweat proof, so it’s ideal to throw on your lashes to run out the door! The hourglass brush is great for separating your lashes to avoid all the clunks. One coat is great, but two coats is even better… no flaking + no running down your face = YAY!

EIGHT. Wander Beauty On-the-Glow Blush and Illuminator | I’ve been a user and fan of Wander Beauty for years [and you’ve seen me rave about these Gold Eye Masks over and over], but I just snatched up this two-in-one blush + illuminator stick. For a slight shimmer and pop of peach to your lips and/or cheeks, this is a FANTASTIC product! Totally full of highly-pigmented color, it’s got stay-all-day power and also hydrates with vitamins A, C and E.

NINE. Boscia Rosewater Mist | We all need a little refresh throughout the day, so this hydrating toner containing rosewater + witch hazel gives you that dewy glow for summer… it also works to remove excess oils and tighten your pores and the $24 won’t break the beauty budget! P.S. you can use in the AM and PM after washing your face as well.

TEN. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector | Dry, damaged and coarse hair?? Me too my friend… all those years of color have wreaked havoc on my strands, so I have been using this potent hair treatment a few times a week over the past few months, and I’ve seen HUGE improvements on my mane. It strengthens and helps to reduce breakage, and it’s SO much softer now!  Just be sure to leave on for the full 10 minutes for it to work its magic.
