Oh Nashville, how I love you so! This past weekend was just what the doctor ordered in terms of some much needed girls’ time for seeing some of my friends and welcoming them to Music City for a jam packed few days of FUN. I’ve been promising you some staycation ideas for coming to Nashville right now if you’re looking to getaway sometime this fall; and I’m hoping this will serve as a resource for all things honky tonking + a good time.

First up, the accomodations: after a little hostess mixup [yeah that’s me… LOL], we ended up staying at The Noelle downtown which always serves as a great locale when you’re wanting to be within walking distance of ALL the things– just a 5 minute walk to Broadway, plenty of restaurants and bars and shopping = you can’t go wrong! We got checked in Friday afternoon and then met up with Chelsea to shoot fall looks with our enture girl gang! Catherine came to join us for dinner that night and then we were on our way…
That night, we hopped over to Deacon’s New South for cocktails on the patio and then finished with a late night dinner at 5th and Taylor, the perfect establishment for upscale southen fare = just don’t forget to order the amazing sausage + cheese biscuits. P.S. if you’re looking for a fab place for outdoor seating, this has amazing atmosphere, too!!
Saturday morning came early and it was time to knock out LEG DAY in the hotel gym. I’m fairly certain I’m still feeling that burn, but we got it accomplished and then headed to Adele’s for brunch. The perfect mix of food + cocktails started our day off right before heading to Green Hills for a bit of retail therapy and making memories [Sarah believes shopping is an experience and I am ALL for it!!]–and yes, we most certainly did some damage #sorrynotsorry. You gotta work hard, but play harder!!

Later that afternoon, we decided to show the Nashville newbies our downtown honky tonk way of life… I’ll go ahead and address a lot of questions I’ve been getting about visiting Music City right now and honestly if you’re OK with wearing masks while on Broadway and smaller crowds, it’s a great time to come get a taste of our city. They limit the amount of people in each restaurant + bar which made it much more enjoyable to hear music, but be sure you’re ready to eat because as of now you must have food at your table to go maskless while onsite. There’s no dancing which is sad, but it didn’t dull our enjoyment… we sang our hearts out tableside and then closed the bar closed at 11PM = the perfect bedtime for us 30-something gals ;).

That next morning, we hit up Makeready for some much needed food + fuel receovery before heading home. Another amazing adventure with these women–never enough time together!!! But be sure to come back tomorrow for the full play-by-play of the business side of this trip and what we are gearing up for…but leaving links for more Music City favs in case our sweet little city is a destination you’re looking to come visit:
