This year, I’ll be celebrating my 9th Mother’s Day… how can that be?!?! Some days it feels like the days are oh so long, whereas I’ll look at Timehop and I turn into a bowl of mush about just how much my babies have grown and I’m reminded they aren’t that little anymore [cue the buckets of tears]. Although it’s my favorite job and role and one that I thank my lucky stars for each and everyday… the chaos + madness coupled with the hugs + kisses = I’d be nothing without them in my life. Whether it’s wearing matching mommy and me pajamas or experiencing something else together, I love it all. Totally a reminder of one of my favorite and oh so sentimental quotes:
Not only does this sentiment apply to all things motherhood, but life in general and whether you’re a mom to a baby, toddler, big kid, tween, teen, college-aged almost grown up or heaven forbid a full fledged adult, it’s safe to say it makes us a bit melancholy to think about how fast this period in time is passing by. And yes, I’ll count you fur mommies in this lineup because we all know Tucker is the true baby of our family and gets away with everything [chewed shoes and all].
