Spring is coming, I can just feel it. And if not, I guess I’ll just dress like it is… one because I can’t get enough florals and two, spring is the epitome of blooms + pretty colors coming back in the yards and trees and I am here for it! Did you know that every year has a flower assigned to it?? Apparently 2022 is the year of the tulip which is all about joy and happiness =speaking to me in every sense of the word.
It’s no secret that almost every single brand will incorporate floral fashion in some way to their spring and summer style = I know it’s not that groundbreaking, BUT it is interesting to note that a lot are going back to classic floral prints for an updated play on the past. You’ll see traditional rose patterns, but in a new color palette, bigger floral prints for a pop to the eyes, and of course my all time favorite = tropical types for resort + travel inspiration.
So, enough of the background details = I thought it was high time to tackle some of the newest floral fashion favorites and let your outfit do the talking…
I first shared this gorgeous floral shift dress by way of Instagram last week and many of you not only fell in love with the colors and pattern, but the pricepoint as well! At just $108, it’s a BEAUTIFUL way to bring in bold for a multitude of occasions = whether it be for a cocktail party, Sunday brunch event or a multitude of sophisticated style outings. It runs TTS/fitted through the hips and I am wearing an XS for reference!
Of course I had to make it a little bit more fitted + refined with the total two-in-one belt I now own in three colors… yep, it’s THAT good! Plus, a pop of pink always does the outfit good.
Moving right along let’s talk about something I always seem to gravitate towards… mixed florals!!! This Multi Color Mini Floral Dress is absolute pastel perfection with it’s tiered babydoll silhouete, smocked waistband detail and allover ruffles = and it just so happens to come by way of one of my favorite brands so I knew it was going to be love at first sight.
It runs TTS/wearing XS for reference and YES, I thought these Lawson Boots were an absolute must-have for spring. One because I live in Nashville and every Music City lady needs a pair for each season and two… the details!
