the 2025 february organizational challenge

Uncategorized

January 31, 2025

This year, we’re kicking things off in February… Why?? Because life is busy, and sometimes January flies by in a blur of “new year, new you” chaos. And then kids get sick and productivity goes down the door… and that’s okay!! The truth is = getting organized isn’t about the calendar date, it’s about making intentional changes when you’re ready. And I am officially ready like N O W.

So, whether you’re feeling like a hot mess express like me, myself and I OR you just want to fine-tune your systems all over again, my annual challenge is back + here to help. Together, we’ll tackle clutter, refresh our spaces and find little ways to make life more manageable. Now… let’s give ourselves grace, embrace the fresh start, and get ready to make 2025 our most organized year yet. Who’s with me?! Yes, that means you should raise your hand!!

First things first… go ahead and bookmark this calendar, print it off, save it to your phone = whatever it takes to keep this top of mind for the foreseeable future [or 28 days to be exact] so that you can get it done and feel good about cleaning out all the clutter from your home, phone and more.

I spent lots of time tweaking this specific challenge and it’s a bit different than year’s past. I changed out some of the days for things I think might work better, ideas that may be a bit more relevant than in years’ past, etc. I’m also going to do daily check-ins over on Instagram to show you my systematic approach, things I scooped up to make this challenge even more productive and I think at the end of the month we are going to host a fun little giveaway to celebrate making it all the way through!

So, without further adieu, here’s the calendar…

So let’s dive into this year’s organization challenge! Life is full, and finding time to declutter and refresh can feel overwhelming = trust me, I know. But we’re tackling this together, one small step at a time. And the beauty of this challenge? It’s designed to fit into real life—quick, manageable tasks for weekdays, with the more time-intensive projects saved for weekends when you’ve got a bit more breathing room.

Some tips I find helpful to set yourself up for success:

  • Start Small | Whether you’re purging your purse [hello, my favorite lost gloss or random money you never knew was there!] or decluttering your nightstand, these quick wins create momentum but don’t take hours to knock out.
  • Make it a Habit | Stick with the daily tasks, and by the end of the month, you’ll feel more in control. It’s all about building a rhythm that works for you.
  • Keep Each Other Accountable | If you’ve been here before, you know I always say this is better when we do it together.. sharing my progress helps you gets yours done and we all benefit from this tight-knit community of organizers… talk about your progress, challenge your friends to do it and of course cheer each other on!
  • Check the Week | I like to look at this in a very high-level way and I am starting by grabbing a few helpful organizational must-haves to make this process easier + way more efficient. I am linking up a handful of favorite finds I think will help make your spaces better suited for optimal organizing and having your drawers + areas looking cuter and more clutter-free, too…

The goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress. By tackling everything from your kitchen junk drawer to your social media feeds, you’ll create a sense of calm and organization throughout your home and your life, all in a fairly short 28-day timeframe! Ready to make February your fresh start? Let’s do this! You’ve got a day to get ready, get set, and get organized with me…
