I’m living on a prayer… and surviving on loads of caffeine! Through trips and travel and back again–just in time to cover everything for the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I’m back and ready to go, giving you the full play-by-play. I shopped until I literally dropped in my local store yesterday–going through each and every category, finding the must-have steals and deals, scoping out the absolute best of the best and I am rounding them all up here…
I’ve been up since my alarm went off at 3AM and I hope my early-bird status helps each and every one of you in some way! Makes a great gift for those early shoppers looking for holiday finds and girlfriend gifting options!
2 Anthropologie Capri Volcano Iridescent Jar Candle [Sale $22, After $35] My favorite candle scent… EVER. I always have at least 2 in my stash ready to switch out once they burn down and they never disappoint! A great gift for anyone and a necessary to grab while it’s on major sale!!!
3 Madewell Fleet Jacket [Sale $64, After $98] I so wanted this to be in my store to try-on in person, but no luck so I just ordered it online… priority shipping so it should be here ASAP. The Madewell items have already been a favorite for me this go-around so I’m crossing my fingers it’s a win as well.
4 Adidas Swift Run Sneaker [Sale $63, After $85] Sneakers… always a HUGE category during the anniversary sale and these puppies have been a favorite for everyone. Great neutral colorway, sleek silhouette, and a great everyday shoe for the gal-on-the-go. For sizing reference, I found them to run TTS.
5 Quay Australia High Key Aviator Sunglasses [Sale $42, After $65] YES… you’re seeing this correctly, my favorite summer sunglasses are included in the sale! Available in both the gold colorway as well as the black, these are the essential mirrored sunglasses and the price can’t be beat!
6 Free People Softly Structured Tunic [Sale $98, After $148] Major sell out alert… I remember this tunic sweater sold out in record time in 2018 and I have a feeling we are going to have a repeat offender this go-around as well. So many fab fall colorways and it’s super soft and cozy all wrapped into one longer length sweater. Remember, FP runs generous and I wear an XS for reference!
7 Chevron Two-Piece Luggage Set [Sale $199, After $299] I saw this steal of a deal online and for someone who travels as much as we have lately, I am always on the hunt for affordable, high quality, durable luggage. This hard frame set features a 19-inch and 28-inch and comes in two colors… one for you and one for your better half!
8 Vince Camuto Kimora Cutout Sandal [Sale $99, After $149] I grabbed these in the mushroom color and absolutely LOVE them… so good I might order the black, too. They run TTS and are super comfy! Love these with leggings, denim , dresses, rompers–basically anything and everything and the cut-out cuteness detail is right on trend for fall.
9 Halogen Lace Detail Blouse [Sale $49, After $79] Looking for fall feminine style?? This lace blouse is the epitome of chic womenswear and the under $50 pricetag makes it a win win for all… I love the ivory color palette, but you all black all the time friends will be thrilled to know it comes in black to pair with your favorite denim, ponte pants, faux leather skirt, etc.
10 Spanx Faux Leather Leggings [Sale $64, After $98] Hands down, my #1 recommendation to purchase during the sale. I have two pair and they are the bottom I wear the most during fall and winter months… they are absolutely worth the price and they NEVER go on sale so it’s your best bet to grab them ASAP! For sizing reference, I wear a size small in all the Spanx leggings. But seriously, DO NOT CHECKOUT WITHOUT BUYING THESE BEAUTIES. 😉
11 Barefoot Dreams® CozyChic Lite® Circle Cardigan [Sale $76, After $119] I’ve been putting off this purchase for years, and ALWAYS regret not buying one, so this year I treated myself to this pretty and said yes to the grey version of this cardigan… it is absolutely the softest sweater EVER and comes in a ton of hues, too.
12 Clare V Midi Snakeskin Crossbody Bag [Sale $199, After $299] Snakeskin = the new neutral for fall 2019 and this crossbody style by the fab Clare V is on everyone’s list… my birthday is coming up after all and I am rap in love with the stripe camera strap in red and blue. Absolute perfection!
13 JCrew Dover Blazer [Sale $130, After $199] I have this in navy and wear it year-round! It’s a medium-weight material, with interior lining, gold button detail and is classic workwear that you can style with a variety of ensembles for everyday and beyond. The colors this season are STELLAR and I’m eyeing that yellow. I tried it on in store yesterday, but I needed to size down to a 0 as it runs a bit generously. JCrew for the win yet again!
14 Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw Blanket [Sale $118, After $180] I love it so much I used it last night already! i grabbed the traditional khaki/black colorway, but the grey/black is totally on point as well… so soft that I know I am going to have to keep this hidden so my little women don’t accidentally take it for themselves! Plan ahead and grab this for your parents’ Christmas gift and you’ll be the favorite for sure.
15 Leith Ruched Wrap Bodycon Dress [Sale $38, After $59] Pretty in e s and oh so chic, I LOVE the silhouette of this dress. Under $40 and I have it in the tank style, so I know it’s going to be a winner for everyone–so many color options and a great style for year-round wear = winning!
16 T3 Cura Hair Dryer [Sale $155, After $235] and Singlepass Curling Iron [Sale $107, After $160] Two beauty buys that top my list each and every year during this sale, so I was pleased to see they were both back for this roundup. Yes, T3 makes the best of the best when it comes to hair tools in my mind and they rarely have any type of discount, so these two would be GREAT to gift yourself for better hair days ahead. If you can only choose one, get the Curling Iron because it holds curls unlike any other I’ve seen, they LAST and the extra long barrel is ideal for any hair length!
17 We the Free by Free People High Rise Jeans [Sale $51, After $78] Another one I was hoping to score in person, but no go… they’ll have to get ordered online instead! The busted knee trend is one of my styles I keep going back for more and I’ve been super impressed with the Free People denim… I tried on a similar style in a 26 so I’ll be ordering these in the same size.
18 Zella Live-In High Waist Leggings [Sale $38, After $59] I’ve raved about the Zella workout leggings for years now and these don’t disappoint yet again… super suck you in power with a great thick material, and a staple for every wardrobe. They come in black, this fun green color for fall, and a black/grey ombre option as well.
19 Steve Madden Rockstar Bootie [Sale $86, After $129] Classically chic, but updated with rockstar studs and the best leopard pattern, these block-heel booties are a must in everyone’s shopping cart. They run TTS and come in other options [like snakeskin which is what I purchased in store!!]
20 BP Belted Waffle Jumpsuit [Sale $42, After $65] When you work from home, this is considered workwear appropriate and this is en route to my house ASAP! It looks absolutely adorable in the imagery and I you know I can’t say no to a jumpsuit… fingers crossed it’s perfect on and I’ll keep you posted once it arrives!

Wit and Wisdom Absolution Skinny Jeans [Sale $44, After $68] If you’re looking for a great pair of everyday medium-rinse skinny jeans and don’t want to break the bank, these are a fantastic option at just $44… wearing the size 25, a great source of stretch and comfort and easy to roll up to show off your favorite fall footwear
1 State Kaleb Wedge Bootie [Sale $89, After $139] LOVE these wedge-style booties for fall… the zipper detail, comfort level and color options are great as well! Under $100 for a pair of essential booties in multiple colors gets two thumbs up from me!
Free People Citrine Tee [Sale $44, After $68] So nice I bought it twice in both black and off-white… the greatest FP henley style tee there ever was! They run TTS [wearing XS] and have the best silhouette for pairing with skinny jeans, leggings, basically everything in your closet 😉 Rarely go on sale as well so snag ASAP
Free People High Rise Busted Knee Jeans [Sale $52, After $78] Great busted knee option for skinny jeans… they do run small so size up as the legs don’t have a lot of wiggle room in them! Higher rise for us mamas who want a little more tummy control and a casual light wash everyone loves

Madewell Black Denim 9-Inch High Rise Skinny Jeans w/Unfinished Hem [Sale $84, After $128] The only other pair of denim I took home with me is this INCREDIBLE pair of black skinny jeans–great high rise, lots of stretch that holds you in and I love the raw hem detail–size up in this pair as they ran a bit small [wearing size 26]
BB Dakota Wade Drape Front Faux Suede Jacket [Sale $64, After $98] in LOVE with this drape front jacket… a lighter weight option for cool days, the dark brown colorway is outstanding, ribbed sleeves that make it a little more fun and really well made for the price–wearing size XS and runs TTS
BP Lace Trim Satin Cami [Sale $25, After $39] same as above, this time in leopard…. wearing XS and a great layering piece for all that outerwear and sweater options you’re stocking up on during the sale
Topshop Double Breasted Plaid Blazer [Sale $69, After $110] Stepping out of my comfort zone with this one and I kinda love it!!! This over-sized plaid blazer is definitely giving me the fall vibes and it’s perfect work AND weekend wear… wearing size 0/2 for reference, I like the boxy fit, button detail and the herringbone print –I saw a ton of blazer options and this one is a GREAT quality option for the price
Halogen Shawl Collar Blazer [Sale $98, After $149] I grabbed a tweed blazer in last year’s sale and it as one of my top-selling items so when I saw this in store, I knew I needed to try it on! Wearing XS Petite for reference, it totally reminds me of vintage chic Chanel yet for a fraction of the price… I absolutely love the navy, black and red colorway and the details make this under $100 obsession INCREDIBLE… pictures don’t do it justice!
JCrew Dover Blazer [Sale $130, After $199] I absolutely LOVE this blazer… I have it in navy and red from JCrew and it’s a fall staple for sure! This fun yellow color option is an updated take on a classic style–runs TTS, I would need a size 0 but they only had the size 2 in store
