How have I not participated in Taylor’s “Top 2 Tuesday” until now?? Why, I have no idea, but I think I am starting on the right week because this little one is devoted to all things shopping… oh how I miss shopping for clothes and accessories instead of home decor =(
Top 2 Favorite Stores
1. Dillards: this may sound random to some of you, but I am a department store guru–how can you not love a store where you can get a little bit of everything??? They have in-store brands that I L-O-V-E: Gianni Bini and Antonio Melani {esp. their shoes!} as well as my favorite dressmakers BCBG, Max and Cleo, and Kensie.
P.S. for those of you who wear Clinique makeup, bonus time starts tomorrow =)
2. Francesca’s: If I am wearing something colorful and feminine, most likely it’s from here. I love the way their clothes fit and the prices can’t be beat… most are also wash and wear which makes dressing up for my corporate job a lot easier come the early morning game of what to wear.
Let’s not forget the honorable mention category: JCrew {why do you have to increase your prices all the time???}, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, and Lulus
I like Max and Cleo too!!!! I just bought a cute little black frock type cocktail dress from the BCBG outlet up in Nashville this past weekend. So cute!!!
I love Dillard's too! I'd never heard of Francesca's (I've never lived by one I checked out their locations!) But they have some really cute pieces online and great prices!

OMG have you ever been to a Dillards clearance store? there is one in jacksonville and tampa, i'm not sure where else. I actually called their customer service to see how many were around me so I could go. They are like TJ Maxx but wayyy better. It is all of the stuff from the surrounding Dillards 70% off racks. Lots of Lilly and cute dresses!!
We sadly don't have Dillards around here, but I went to one in Vegas and thought it was a fabulous department store. And I'm happy to see Anthropologie gets a nod, they have a lot of cute things!
