If I am smiling extra big today, it’s because I am still elated from the success of this weekend… hands on, this was the BEST Steeplechase yet! Not only did I have pretty much all of my best friends in town for the notorious event, but the sun was shining all day in Nashville and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
Of course–there were tons of big hats, a fantastic spread of food, lots of jello shots flowing, beer pong tournaments, and I have a bajillion pictures since I made sure to document the day properly for my blog friends–seriously, if you want a fun southern-style weekend, this IS the time to come to Nashville… so much fun and never a dull moment!

How fun! I can't believe that I live in Nashville and still haven't been to steeplechase. Definitely going next year! The dress came from Dillards..you can buy it online and I only paid $88 for it–so comfortable and perfect for lots of summer events!
