So Much To Tell…

Uncategorized

June 11, 2010

I had a reader email me yesterday asking how I keep up my busy schedule, between work and doing calligraphy, and travelling out of town, and decorating a home, and trying to maintain events on my calendar with friends, not to mention still finding time to workout… and my answer was short and sweet: I love staying busy!
I’m the type of person that refuses to loafe and sit around–now don’t get me wrong, I love a down day every now and then–but there is too much to see and do to waste time.
And yes, I must have received this trait from my Mother, because in between wedding planning and their upcoming trip to Greece, they just decided to buy a new house to move closer to us… do you feel the love?? Though they have always built houses, somehow they stumbled upon a perfect home, put in an offer, and got the house–just like that! Not to mention that God must have really been looking over them because they put the old house up for sale and had an offer the VERY NEXT DAY–shocking in this economy to say the least and I know they feel extremely blessed.
Their new place is a mere 25 minutes away from us and I can’t wait to help Mom pick out paint and start decorating the new abode–yay!!
Speaking of family, today we are headed up to Ohio for my stepbrother’s wedding. Should be a fun time catching up with extended family on my Dad’s side that I haven’t seen in quite some time… although, I have a little confession to make:
I am extremely disappointed because I won’t be here in Nashville to see this
lady tie the knot with her beau =(
Ever since Amber got engaged in late 2008, we have spent HOURS chatting away about her wedding…planning away and looking at dresses and checking out blogs to make her wedding day perfect! This weekend, her and Luke will be surrounded by so many of their loving friends and family who couldn’t be happier than to see them enter this exciting new chapter of their lives…Amber, you know more than anything I wish I could be there this weekend. I know you are going to look incredible and all your hard work is going to pay off with a beautiful wedding weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed for perfect weather for your big day and I can’t wait to hear all about it and see the pictures showing every detail I won’t get to see in person. I love you and I hope you and Luke bask in EVERY single moment these next 2 days… you deserve it! And I can’t wait to talk to you when you get back from your Jamaican honeymoon!! OXOX
And let’s see, oh yeah today’s date, June 11, 2010–I just thought I’d take a moment to say:
LET THE 1 YEAR COUNTDOWN BEGIN!!

That’s right… we’ve made it to the 365 day mark–this time next year, I will be getting set to marry the love of my life… oh that makes my heart swoon with happiness =)
Have a wonderful weekend friends!!!
