That’s right ladies and gentleman, tomorrow I turn the BIG 27–no, not a huge milestone birthday by any means, but the older I get, the happier I get about maturing and growing into my self and this year looks so very promising with lots of fun heading my way…
The Obvious–I’m Getting Married!
But before I jump ahead of myself, it’s always fun to look back on the past year and reflect–yes emotional, I know đ
Learned how to roll sushi
Was baptized and joined my church!
Traveled to Vol-Land {aka Knoxville} for lots of football
Tried a different hair color–and slowly progressed back to blonde–haha
Rang in the New Year with my wonderful parents and Jeff
Got the surprise of a lifetime when Jeff proposed in Charleston
Bought our Very First Home!
Trained and Ran My 1st Half-Marathon
I am ever so thankful to have experienced a great 26th, but can’t wait for everything in store and to see what all 27 will bring… hope you’ll stay tuned to find out!!
This weekend, I am so excited to spend lots of quality time with family and friends… tonight, Meg has planned a wonderful {yet relaxing} dinner at Judge Beans BBQ here in Nashville! I have been wanting to try this place out for what seems like forever so what a perfect opportunity to indulge in some good old southern comfort food.
Tomorrow morning, Jeff and I are spending my actual birthday working on the house–wow, am I a lucky girl or what?? It has to get done sometime and I’d rather just suck it up and get it done so I can spend the rest of my weekend having fun.
Saturday night is birthday date night with my parents–Jeff has planned a surprise dinner for the 4 of us, yet won’t spill any details except that I need to dress up–oh I love surprises!
Then Sunday morning it’s off to church and then to Taco Mamacita for lunch with my entire family… before heading back to my house for cake and ice cream! Let’s just say all this month’s exercise will be going down the drain this weekend, but it’s so worth it for some birthday treats!
