Falling For You Recipes and Weekend Travels

weekend

September 17, 2010

It’s time for all those beloved fall recipes to make their debut, and when I think of fall, I think of game-day chili {tailgating at the game AND at home}, anything with apples, pumpkin spiced everything, and lots of soups to keep me warm on chilly nights! Here are some of my favorites:

It’s Friday peeps, and you know what that means… another weekend adventure to Knoxville for some SEC football! I’m thinking ONLY good thoughts as our boys get ready to take on the Florida Gators {oh Urban Meyer I don’t like you one bit!}—we are going to need some positive reinforcements to back us up this week and I will be there with my pom pom waving proudly in Neyland Stadium. Gameday weather forecast looks gloriously sunny and I am hoping to get some good sun with that sun beaming down on us all afternoon =)We’re starting our weekend off with one of Jeff’s best friends/groomsmen and his girlfriend for dinner and then hoping to relax the rest of the night…then the fun officially kicks off Saturday AM when we head to our favorite G10 parking lot to tailgate with fabulous friends!
Tomorrow night after the game, we are meeting up at my favorite locale, Tin Roof, to celebrate a certain someone’s birthday… Coach Lawson, I cannot wait to buy you a birthday shot!

Andy and Lauren–man these lovebirds are adorable!!

Sunday morning, we’re doing the family routine…having brunch with Jeff’s mom and some family friends and then hoping to make an early arrival back in Nashville so that we can have some time to relax and unwind…happy weekend ladies!!!
