This Weekend’s Festivities

Uncategorized

November 19, 2010

Fabulous Friday time my lovelies… this weekend is jam-packed with fun fun fun and I cannot wait to kick-off the multitude of friend time I am about to partake in.
This afternoon, BFF Bev and Christian {along with little Griz} are headed to Nashville to come visit all of us!! We’ll be having a fun 2-night sleepover and I’m uber pumped as it seems like it has been forever since I’ve seen her.
Tonight, we all are gathering for dinner to celebrate Candice’s 28th birthday!! We have reservations at Taco Mamacita–one of our most celebrated places for mexican and margaritas–and I know with our group, it’s sure to get a bit crazy! I’ve been hard at work baking some delicious goodies and I think they turned out perfectly so I cannot wait to share with yall!

Candice’s actual birthday is tomorrow and we’ll be spending all day together… I love you friend! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since we met… WOW, a long time ago! She’ll be standing next to me next summer at my wedding and having her a friend is truly a blessing. She is someone who is extremely dependable and I love our time together–love you and cheers to a WONDERFUL year!

Tomorrow, we’re all headed to Vandy’s campus to tailgate for the big UT/Vandy rivalry game. Us VOL fans are hoping for another SEC win after last week’s success (come on Tyler Bray!!). We’ll be spending our afternoon munching on wings via Matt from BKW Seasonings which are oh so tasty, having a few cocktails, and getting a little wild!! For the actual game festivities, we are traveling to Ryan and Rachel’s house to hang out, relax, and eat some of Ryan’s infamous creations–yes, we’re starting our Thanksgiving eating activities a bit early ;).
Sunday morning, we’ll be heading to church to hear our Senior Pastor’s last sermon. He’ll be with BUMC through December, but he wanted to wrap up his personal sermons before Advent and the Christmas celebrations… I’m sure there wont be a dry eye in the house–we love Cliff! After church, we’ll be going with the bday girl to take some fall pictures, which will hopefully be used for our Christmas Cards this year!! I’ve got my eye on some adorable designs over at Minted, Red Stamp, and Tinyprints, so I hope they turn out great.

Here are some of my early favorite choices for 2010:
