I don’t have much to say today ladies and gentlemen… I know, you must be shocked, so this will be a hodge podge of goodness all thrown into the mix with whatever I can come up with. However, I had some peeps email me wanting that dip recipe so here you go:
Warm and Creamy Bacon Dip {via Southern Living Magazine and Daisy Brand}
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
3 oz bacon bits
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped green onion
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Place mixture in baking dish. Cover. Heat for 25-30 minutes. Serve with crackers and/or chips.
So, how was your Valentine’s Day night plans?? Ours were extremely low-key and relaxing, which was just what the Doctor ordered… we cooked dinner together {chilean sea bass with mango salsa, filet, and veggies}, snuggled on the couch, and indulged in cake and ice cream–a perfect night spent with my sweetie. And of course, he was nice enough to let me watch The Bachelor, too… that is love isn’t it? Psycho finally went home, and so quietly at that!! SHOCKER…I cannot wait for next week’s hometown dates because this is when it gets good and the crazy parents grill the man–hehe.
Tonight, I am headed to Meg’s house for dinner and quality time with my ladies… the college beeshes to be exact. We haven’t done this in quite a LONG time so I am elated to catch-up with my hot mammas…yes, that means you Leslie, Candice, and Hurt đ
And for the quote of the day: “Everyone knows that seasons change; it’s unavoidably obvious. But for some reason, everyone tries to avoid the fact that people do too”
Sometimes tidbit posts are the most fun… đ Have fun at the fitting!!
Just found your blog a few days ago & love it. That last picture of the social media Bermuda Triangle is hilarious! (my productivity level has definitely fallen with Twitter & Facebook!)
So mango salsa?? how did u make this? i have always wanted to try it but looked a bit complicated?? Also, I just started the zumba dvds!! I luv them!! do you go to a class or just the videos?
That dip looks great! Ha, love the social media image!
Love the bermuda triangle… thats the story of my life except instead of gmail it would have blogging
The social media image is too funny. I'm right there with you on the Bachelor, so happy that crazy finally went home. Another week of her, and I may have stopped watching..
Haha that pictures if fabulous! That's so true! Good for you for heading out for some runs! I miss running soooooooo badly and cannot WAIT for warmer weather so I can hit the pavement again.
I still have to watch the Bachelor on DVD but I am SOO glad Michelle went home and isn't taking someone's spot who actually has class….she is awful! Have you seen the trailer for her movie? She "acts" the same in real life and on set…she's so fake.
Have fun tonight! I always love getting together with good girlfriends đ
Xoxo
Jess
That last picture perfectly summarizes my best intentions. Except I would replace facebook with blogging. I don't get lost as much in facebook.
That map of the bremuda triangle is hysterical…and least I know I'm not the only one!
I am totally with you on Michelle going home, but I am going to miss her crazy commentary and how she tells Brad who to keep and who to send home!
We watched the Bachelor too and I was really happy when Michelle went home but I am curious what her daughter and hometown date would have been like!
Love me some Bachelor! (the show, not the guy, cuz he's pretty lame!) I know I am pretty behind, but was so glad to see crazy lady leave too… I love Emily! I hope she wins! That girl reminds me of you, adorable, sweet and Southern! But she could do wayyy better than Brad lol đ
