The Highs and The Not-So Lows

Uncategorized

August 3, 2011

Today I have to be thankful for a lot of things…little things, big things, and the lovelies that fall right in the middle. Here they are in no particular order:

I’m loving that I am starting to feel better ..this little one is sickly, and had to head home from work Tuesday, but I am feeling more like “me” today–thank heavens for a boss that lets me work from home until I feel 100%

I’m loving what I made for dinner the other night {another new recipe to add to my collection!}. I had bookmarked this recipe for quite some time and had been dying to try it–Jeff said this was the best meal I had ever made and it was fairly easy, just a little time consuming–definitely check it out for yourself

I’m loving that I am getting to work in my pajamas today…some days we just need to not put on makeup and fix our hair–amen!

I’m loving that we’re headed to Knoxville this weekend…wedding fun for one of Jeff’s childhood friends and spending the weekend with friends we don’t get to see as often as we’d like

Alright friends, back to get more rest and work on emails and such…living on saltines and Sprite has me oh so excited–and wishing Mom was here to take care of me. The hubby is great, but he’s just not quite Mom. Hope you’re all having a good week. I’ll be back soon. 😉

That recipe looks fab! So sorry to hear you've been feeling under the weather…hope you were able to get the rest you need. I know, hubbies take awhile to "train" in the caring for you when you're sick department, but it is possible ;-)! My man's great at it now, but it took a few years lol!
