To celebrate Caroline’s first holiday, I wanted to have a very special Easter basket…one that she can keep to use each and every year and of course, it just had to be personalized. đ
I started stocking up on basket goodies about a month or so ago, as I knew my shopping time would be cut drastically once she was here {boy was I right about that!}. Of course I just have to show some of the fun contents she’ll be “opening” from the Easter Bunny come Sunday…
I sought out the fabulous Etsy shop, Two Sisters Designs, for a fun basket-ordered it in pink with polka dots and her name added to the design! It turned out perfectly.
Now for the actual goodies: Carters Bubble and Dress, Baby Gap Ruffle Bathing Suit, Pastel Hairbows, The Velveteen Rabbit Book, Waterproof Argyle Bib, Green Reusable Eating Utensils, and Peter Cottontail Book.
Instead of the normal hustle and bustle of Easter, this year we’ll be celebrating at our house…the thought of having Caroline make her church debut this Sunday makes me a little apprehensive, so we’ll be waiting just a bit longer to venture to the church nursery.
However, in proper Easter day ritual, we’ll be all dressed up in our Sunday best and will be spending the afternoon with our families…even better, we’ll be having one of my favorite holiday traditions–a Honeybaked Ham!

Oh, my favorite Easter food has always been a strawberry pie! My grandma would make it especially for myself and one other cousin. We grew up in a very large family, so it was so special that she would do it just for us, which made it taste even better!

My favorite Easter food tradition is most definitely deviled eggs, although hashbrown casserole is a close second. My mother and Granny have always made such delicious deviled eggs and the memory makes them taste even better! My son has grown up loving them, as well.
Favorite Easter Food – would HAVE to be my Mom's homemade Potato Salad .. We do the "un-traditional" Easter brunch .. we use the ham to make sandwiches, and have a "cook out" type of theme .. lots of deviled eggs, baked beans, chips, dips, veggies, and of course dessert .. This year we will be tackling Whoopie Pies! đ

That little ruffle bathing suit is the cutest thing ever. Wish they had it in my size, hah! My favorite Easter food is my mom's roast leg of lamb, with a strawberry cake for dessert. A really yummy angel food cake with sliced strawberries and cream mmmm! We do the ham for Christmas!
The one food I can't live without on holidays is my grandmother's deviled eggs. My dad's mom is the only one still on Earth with us and she makes them each time we get together – they are gone within the first 15 minutes of everyone getting there. It is by far one of the things I look forward to each holiday.
