Happy Father’s Day!

Know what I love about today? I love the fact that I get to spend my afternoon with my dad and Jeff…this year, we decided to have an outing to celebrate daddy’s day and I am taking them to a Nashville Sounds baseball game, complete with hot dogs and beer…talk about a boy’s dream!
This year, I am lucky in that I get to celebrate Father’s Day with 3 very special men in my life…

To my Dad, thank you for being such an incredible father and friend. I value our time together so very much and I look forward to your surprise afternoon visits when you stop by to see Caroline. She is very lucky to have Pappy in her world and we both love you so much. Your antics, your jokes, and your hugs are what stands out most, and I am a lucky girl to be your daughter.

To my Papa, what can I say… you’re the backbone of our family, and a role model I can only hope to emulate. You have always put your family first and you have always let each of us know just how important we are…I feel so fortunate in that I get to share so much time with you and Gran now that I am able to stay at home and our days together watching Caroline are some of the best. Thank you for being an incredible grandfather, now and always.

To Jeff, what an exciting day…it’s your very first Father’s Day! I know these last few months have been challenging, but I know it has also been the most rewarding time in our lives…to see you interact with Caroline brings a smile to my face and I know your daughter loves you more than you could ever imagine. She beams at you when you hug and kiss her, and gives you that adorable toothless grin at least a few times each day. My hope is that you and her will always have a special father/daughter relationship and that she will be a daddy’s girl ;).
