I cannot lie, I was a little down at the fact that the 4th of July was on a Wednesday this year, yet after the fact I have to admit that it was nice to have a little mid-week break to celebrate with family and our best friends. We ventured over to my Aunt Denise’s house for food, fun, summertime beverages, and loads of water volleyball.

I think I am still in a food coma today from all that I consumed yesterday…barbeque and all the traditional sides, coupled with my favorite Oreo dessert I whipped up, and my new favorite beverage (the Bud Light Lime-a-rita=AMAZING!), we’re taking it easy today and spending the day at the house catching up on chores!

What great pictures! Four generations — you are one lucky girl. By the time I graduated college, I sadly had no grandparents left. I always love seeing people who have such close bonds to their grandparents and are thankful to have them in their lives.
