This year, we tried to cram as much as possible into the week leading up to Christmas. Caroline and I were busy scrambling all over Nashville-visiting Santa Claus, taking in the lights at Opryland Hotel, doing some last minute shopping with Mimi, making salt dough ornaments with our mommy playgroup, and baking all day with Mimi and Pappy. This is what the season is all about, right??

And finally, we were off to Mimi and Pappy’s house for a day filled with holiday baking…cookies, caramels, fudge, and peanut butter balls (we might have sampled just one or two–hehe)

Hopefully, I’ll be back later on this week to share all of our wonderful and festive Christmas celebrations with our family…it was jam packed with too much fun, and Caroline had an absolute ball with all her fun new toys! Wishing you all a mellow few days to unwind from the hustle and bustle, too!
We have made it a tradition to take her to Opryland for her visit with Santa. It's such a great place to spend the day.
I would love to see Opry Land at Christmas. I think it is the most beautiful hotel.

My Mom went to the Opryland Hotel a few years ago and was raving about how beautiful it was. I bet it is truly a sight during the holiday's.
