This year, we tried to cram as much as possible into the week leading up to Christmas. Caroline and I were busy scrambling all over Nashville-visiting Santa Claus, taking in the lights at Opryland Hotel, doing some last minute shopping with Mimi, making salt dough ornaments with our mommy playgroup, and baking all day with Mimi and Pappy. This is what the season is all about, right??
Here are a few of my favorite shots from our fun-filled days together…
First up, a tour of Opryland Hotel with Gran, Papa, and Aunt Shell
Next on the tour is waiting for Santa Claus…
the final picture turned out so cute and she did great!
Checking out the big guy 😉
Then we had Aunt Lauren and Uncle Andy over for a bit
so CC could open her gift from them
The sweetest bouncing Tigger…she loves it and dances with it ALL.DAY.LONG
And finally, we were off to Mimi and Pappy’s house for a day filled with holiday baking…cookies, caramels, fudge, and peanut butter balls (we might have sampled just one or two–hehe)
We had ONE big mess!
Trying out her very first Christmas sugar cookie
Hopefully, I’ll be back later on this week to share all of our wonderful and festive Christmas celebrations with our family…it was jam packed with too much fun, and Caroline had an absolute ball with all her fun new toys! Wishing you all a mellow few days to unwind from the hustle and bustle, too!
We have made it a tradition to take her to Opryland for her visit with Santa. It's such a great place to spend the day.
I would love to see Opry Land at Christmas. I think it is the most beautiful hotel.
Aw! Merry Christmas to you and Merry First Christmas to Caroline!
I can't even handle her picture with Santa, too cute!!
I'm ready for weekly baby post. Haha :)!
My Mom went to the Opryland Hotel a few years ago and was raving about how beautiful it was. I bet it is truly a sight during the holiday's.
That Santa pic might just be the cutest EVER!!!
What a great Santa photo, and great picture eating the sugar cookie. Love. I've stayed at the Opryland Hotel a few times–and love it–aside from the fact that it's so easy to get turned around it 🙂 Happy Thursday. oxo
I cant believe Caroline is SO big!! She is so adorable and looks just like you!! Hope your holidays were the BEST ever!! XOXOX
