My favorite part was the Crayola “crayon wall”, where you can pick up a tin and fill it with all sorts of fun crayon colors so YOU choose the contents…and yes, I was SO wishing they had created this when I was in school!!!!
I picked up a few essentials while I was there, too. Something I had never seen before were Dry-Erase Pencils from Crayola (of course those were instantly added to my basket) and then I picked up a wooden puzzle by Melissa and Doug as we have started working on our alphabet/letters with Miss Caroline.

I am a school-based Speech Language Pathologist and constantly get bogged down in paperwork; so I LOVE getting adorable office organization items that help me keep on top of all my paperwork and look cute while doing it! Staples' filing folders, binder clips, and post-it notes are among my faves!

I always LOVED getting fresh new markers, pens, and pencils. I so miss going back to school!
Oh my gosh, I had so much fun school supply shopping with my daughter this year! She is in 1st grade, so we got to buy all the fun crayons and markers! New pens and crayons are my favorite!

Although this is the first semester I haven't gone "back to school" as I have finally graduated, I still let myself back to school shop for supplies for what is now my home office. I absolutely love staples and office/school supplies make me giddy. Husband labels it an addiction.
Fun! I just purchased a Lisa Frank unicorn notebook. Who says you fully have to grow up? I love crayons and actually color when I get stressed. Weird, I know but it helps. And I love Staples because it has a lot of variety in not only the school supplies department but also snacks, utensils, etc.

Back to school shopping is the best… seriously so exciting! My favorite things to get are pens and highlighters. It seems like every year, there is a new type of highlighter (fun ones where you can see the ink in the tube, new colors, highlighters with the sticky tabs attached, etc)… and pens – how fun! There are so many options – gel, ball point, fancy colors, etc!
oh my gosh! to this day, i still love school supplies! my favorites will always be colored pens, cute notepads, and a fresh box of crayons! my 10 year old self would have died to shop that crayon bar! xoxo

I am already excited to buy Elyse new school supplies…and it's still 3 years away! However, I don't think a fresh box of crayons can be beat, I've always loved rubbing my hand over the sharp pointed edges deciding which crayon will be tainted first!

I have younger kids and they aren't in any type of school (yet) but my favorite part of back to school is finding a good notebook and fancy pen to write with (and of course, wayyyy less crowd at the malls and zoos, etc!). Lisa Frank was by far my favorite growing up and I have introduced my almost three year old to LF coloring books and other school supplies! SO FUN!!

Before having our little blessing (who is 8 months) I taught kindergarten. My favorite thing about back to school is organizing!! I'm a little OCD when it comes to organizing and absolutely live buying things to help with my OCD! Staples binders (love, love, love the rubber on the perimeter of the binders), dividers WITH pockets so I can keep important weekly handouts right beside my lesson plans for each week, post it labels to organize the binder dividers even more, sharpie pens (my fave!!), and smelly markers to surprise my school babies! I'm not gonna lie…it's tough being a teacher at heart and not being able to participate in the back to school excitement…which is why I now subject my eight month old to my OCD by organizing (and re-organizing when I'm bored) his play nook. I hope he appreciates the importance of labeling book bins, books, and toy crates when he's older! Haha

A crayon wall? OMG!!! I wish that was around 25 years ago! đ I would have to say my favorite school supply is that pen that has 8 different colors in it. You know what I'm talking about? it was big, fat and had different "buttons" to push for different colors. I loved that freakin pen! đ

Back in the day is was all about JELLY ROLL pens! Now I'm much more refined and prefer colored sharpies and neon post it notes.
I'm old so my favorite part of back to school was picking out my new Trapper Keeper! Now it's seeing how excited my kids are to go shopping for new supplies and meet their new teachers!
Oh my goodness how I WISH I was still in elementary school when back to school shopping was the most fun!!! I was always so excited to organize my SPACEMAKER PENCIL CASE and fill it with SCENTED MARKERS, SCENTED ERASERS and the ever popular JELLY PENS (although I STILL use these!) đ Of course, the trapper keeper was a huge one too, especially the brightly colored and animal print Lisa Frank ones! Oh to reminisce!
