September is here, which means we have said goodbye to all things summer (except those blasted temps!) and we’re exchanging out all the hot weather hobbies and lists for those festive, fall happenings…I’ve been working on a fun to-do of items to check off these next few months so here is our festive fall bucket list:
- Visit a pumpkin patch
- Trick-or-treating for Halloween (oh yes, we have already picked out the girls costumes!)
- Paint and carve pumpkins
- Host a chili night
- Make smores
- Have a backyard bonfire
- Visit the Bell Buckle Craft Fair
- Go with Mom to the Christmas Village shopping event
- Bake fall goodies (monster munch mix) for friends and family
- Make a batch of hot apple cider (might be spiked with a little something special)
- Bake as many pumpkin recipes as possible…cakes, breads, pies, and cookies oh my!
- Take an afternoon drive with the family to see the fall foliage
- Decorate our house for fall
- Host a gameday football tailgate party
(P.S. you might notice almost all of our list includes food of some kind…haha! Obviously, you know where our priorities are, right??) So tell me friends, what all is on your list of musts this season?
These all seem like great ideas. Particularly the ones with food! Haha!

So glad you posted this — I totally need to make one too! I'm so jealous that you guys get a true fall season… it definitely cools down here, but super pretty fall leaves, etc!

This list is awesome! We are knocking out a lot of these for my daughters fall themed birthday party! On my list is our annual balloon fiesta which includes hot chocolate and breakfast burritos. Happy Fall!

I'm SO ready for fall. I've got my kids Halloween costumes already and have picked up my pumpkin candles (haven't started burning them though). Your list sounds so fun — need to make one of my own!
Love this fall bucket list! I wish we could have a big bonfire, but alas, city/apartment living strikes again! Buzzfeed recently posted 31 pumpkin recipes that are unique and delicious-sounding!
