Five on Friday…Easter Weekend

Uncategorized

April 18, 2014

One. I am SO thankful Easter is finally here…time to get rid of all the chocolate bunnies and eggs that have taken over my house, we can “hunt” for eggs with the family after church on Sunday and stock up on my toys and such that we absolutely need (sarcasm friends, sarcasm), and we are destined to see scary bunnies everywhere. My grandparents joked that they almost bought the girls ducks at the co-op the other day and I am SO thankful they were able to walk away. And yes, as a child, they totally bought me and my cousin bunnies for Easter one year…they lasted a long time I promise ;).

Two. Two more days and then this mama is going shopping…yes, I know I can go without it because I have done it for 40 days, but that’s long enough in my book and I’ve already got my eye on some new purchases that will be mine. If you see me out on Sunday, you better stay away because I’ve got places to go and items to buy!

Three. As of yesterday, we are at the one month countdown until our annual family beach vacation. I am so excited I am like a kid on Christmas just thinking about all the fun that’s in store…endless amounts of seafood, adult beverages all day, quality time with my favorite people in the world, a beach shoot with a local photographer for new pictures, and real sun (not just the spray sun I am so fond of). It cannot come soon enough!! Rosemary Beach, here we come.
Four. Coffee Talk. I SO appreciated all of your kind words of affirmation and encouragement in regards to the Surviving Two Under Two post from earlier this week. It is reassuring to know how many of you have walked down that same path and feel the same way I do. Sometimes I think the real posts help readers to see the person behind the blog, the REAL me, and I am happy to share that part of my story with each of you. That just goes to show it’s not all perfect, edited happiness all the time.
Five. A GREAT Friday. Not only is it Good Friday, but it’s a Great Friday over at Sugar Bit today as we’ve got a fun little promotion for you and the chickies. $10 off a $50 purchase?? YAY for holiday shopping fun!

These new arrivals via Natalie Grant  (starting at just $26) will have you jumping for joy!
