I can’t lie…I always hoped for a summertime baby, because birthday parties are SO much easier to plan when you don’t have to worry about cold temperatures, the “rainy season”, or major holidays and such. Granted, as a July birthday girl myself, then comes the summertime conundrum when friends/family can’t attend because of vacations, summer camps, and all the other fun activities people have going on during the warmer months of the year.
Anyways, to celebrate Little Bit’s big first birthday, I knew about six months ago that I wanted to do something with ice cream! Nothing says summer like ice cream and we sure do love our two scoops of fun. I went with a bright, bold color scheme of pink, orange, and yellow and then sent Beth Hart my ideas so she could come up with just the perfect invite. Of course, she amazed me as always and it was perfection! Here is the inspiration board for Carson’s Ice Cream Social:

I am a July birthday girl too (the 16th) and I always loved having a summer birthday. Love your inspiration images. I'm sure the party will be so so cute!
My daughter's birthday is a week after your's and I am in party planning mode. I am going with a sunshine theme đ
This sounds like so much fun!! My husband always talks about having Marble Slab come out and do an ice cream party (they do them for his office and he loves it). We have a July birthday boy and my husband has mentioned it a few times already! I cannot wait to see what you pull off – it is sure to be exceptional!
Love this idea! So fun to have an actual ice cream truck stop by!
What a fun idea! I love that you're having an ice cream truck come to the party. I think it's perfectly fine to go all out for mini's birthdays. it makes me sad when parents are super cheap on them and don't spend a lot of time planning them and "justify" it by saying that "They (the child) has no idea". So you can bet your bottom dollar that Ellie's are going to be fun!!

So darling! I'm an August baby, so my little ones' late January birthdays utterly confound me!
Uh, I'll be 27 next summer..can you throw me a party like this;) Seriously though, super cute idea!!! If I didn't already have a majority of the decorations made for my mini's party next month I would totally switch up and do an ice cream theme instead!
Shes the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!!She is adorable!!!
