Two. Frozen on Ice
You heard it right…I am one of the crazy mommies who thinks taking their 2-year old to see Frozen on Ice sounds like a fabulous idea! We first told Caroline about her upcoming mommy/daughter date last weekend and she hasn’t stopped talking to EVERYONE about it, including her teachers and friends at Mother’s Day Out…so so funny. Add in a fancy new Elsa gown and I have a feeling this experience is going to make her entire year (and maybe mine, as well). Bring on the crazy, sugar overload, souvenir necessary fun! I’m sure I will have a full recap next week đ
Three. October Fun
I’m sure you’ve seen this graphic everywhere since October has officially rolled in, but it can’t hurt to see it again…one, because Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite books ever (and I like to believe I have kindred spirits, too) and because I think the vast majority of us have a love of all things fall…pumpkin patches, cooler temps, change of season with gorgeous brisk weather, and so many festivals, foods, and attractions to take in, it’s hard not to love everything about autumn. Get out there and ENJOY it!!
Four. Six Month Anniversary
Today I’m a mess…in a good way. I’m a mess because Sugar Bit is celebrating six months of having our doors open for business. This past 1/2 year has been the biggest learning experience of my life (second to motherhood of course). It’s been filled with ups, downs, crazy days, lessons learned, mistakes made, and I’m here to say that I love my career more than I ever imagined possible. For all of you that have been avid supporters of my small business, from the bottom of my heart, thank you SO VERY much, though I feel like I can never repay you for the trust you have put in me. I get giddy to work everyday and do something I truly love, and when I’m wrapping up packages and shipping them to you and your loved ones, I have a constant smile across my face because I know that small package is not only made with love, but sent with true passion and a purpose to make someone else happy at the same time. Just remember to always follow your dreams and make everyday count…if you’re doing something you love, it doesn’t feel like work at all. I think I will end this day in a celebration with my favorite champagne!
Five. La Senorita Jolie Fall Collection and GIVEAWAY
I’ve talked about this fabulous assortment of tops and dresses before, but La Senorita Jolie just released their fall collection and I am showing off one of my favorite new shirts today… it’s the Izabelle Top in Wheat and it’s a PERFECT fall staple (though I wore it with shorts because it’s still hot in Tennessee in October…go figure). It’s a feminine, super soft sweatshirt material, fits true to size (I got a small) has a boat neck that can be worn off the shoulder as well, and the color goes with everything.

ummm, that Izabelle top is fabulous and such a perfect staple for fall! Although, like you, I've been in shorts and tshirts since it was 90 degrees here in TN yesterday!! But we know the colder weather will roll in rather quickly and this top is awesome!!

My parents are taking our daughter to see Frozen on Ice in Atlanta next week while we are out of town. We still haven't told her. We probably wont say anything until the day before.
