ONE. Hair Styles for Masquerade
It’s time to dress up and get all dolled up for a fun night out with friends tomorrow night for the annual JLN Music City Masquerade and I cannot wait! My favorite hair and makeup guru is going to help all of us ladies look our best and I love the fact that us girls will be spending the afternoon getting ready together over at Rachel and Ryan’s house before the festivities.. the boys will join us and then we’re off to dance the night away. Currently, I’m looking at hairstyles as inspiration for Taylor to work with… since the dress has a lot of detail on the front and back, I’m opting for some kind of updo. Tell me your favorites out of these… this mama needs help!

TWO. Kushyfoot Goodies
Keeping on the fashion train, I am LOVING these new Kushyfoot goodies! I’ve never been one to wear foot covers with my slip-ons for fear you could actually see them, but I’ve found these liners and I’ve been converted. Cushioned sole + heel guard + arch support… done and done! And the athletic no show socks are some of the best I’ve tried… especially for gals who workout and want to make sure they are taking proper care of their feet at the same time. Anyways, I love to share when I find good prodcuts–especially those that are budget friendly–so I’m all about this line of love for your feet!

THREE. Beginner Blooms… How to Style Flowers
I love a good bouquet of fresh florals, but I have to admit that I’m not a floral stylist and mine usually tend to look pretty ordinary… hey, I try, but some things just aren’t my strength! Anyways, I was browing through Pinterest the other night and came across this helpful tutorial of how to craft the perfect bouquet… even with the inexpensive bouquets you find at your local grocery store. Here’s to hoping this can cure my black thumb.

FOUR. Spring Looks with Shorts
Loving the casual, sophisticated look of a simple top and fun shorts these days… let’s face it, I can’t wear the short ones any longer (not sure why I ever did in the first place), but when I’m rolling around on the floor //park // etc, it’s good to know I can look put together without showing too much skin. These ensembles make for perfect everyday wear and still look extremely put together!

FIVE. The Homemade Cocktail
I saw this recipe for All Natural Homemade Margaritas on Colleen’s blog last week and immediately bookmarked it for easy reference… love the fact it includes ingredients we already have and that I’m not using some random sugary mix found at a store. Not to mention Cince de Mayo is coming up and I always need a good excuse to make a big pitcher of one of my favorite spring/summer beverages.

That’s all for this week my lovelies… today, I’m finishing work for the week and putting it on hold so I can enjoy the weekend festivities! Dinner with friends and our minis tonight, the masquerade tomorrow, church and small group Sunday morning, and then a gender reveal Master’s party on Sunday afternoon for our friends Andrea and Ben! Jam packed, just the way I like it ;).
As always, be sure to link up below and check out my ladies’ April, Darci, and Christina, too!

I bookmarked that same margarita recipe, and can't wait to try it after bebe arrives:) As for the hair, I am loving the 4th one – the loose updo with the side braid. But the volumized pony tail is super cute too. Depends on the dress! Can't wait to see pictures!:)

  3. Andrea Nine says:
