One || Caroline and Carson’s Easter Baskets
I’m sharing our fun takes on the girls’ Easter Basket gifts for this year… as much as I know they L O V E the candy and sugar-filled treats that the Easter Bunny normally brings, we opted for a little change of pace this go-around and I am so excited at how they turned out:
To start things off, we went the personalized route and got each of the girls a new basket with their names embroidered on the basket liners… from Personal Creations, these Plush Pals baskets were easy to order, came quickly, and I love the traditional look of these keepsake baskets for Caroline and Carson.
For the inside contents, they are getting seersucker rashguard bathing suits, Cherokee flutter sleeve striped tees and floral shorts [which are all 20% off at Target this week!], floral BPA-free plates, wubble bubbles, skip-it outdoor balls, Annie’s Oatmeal Cookie Bites, Annie’s Bunny Fruit Snacks, and new reads from Usborne Books!
And lucky for us, Lulu will be hand delivering these items from the Easter Bunny himself.
TWO || Easter Ensembles for Me and My Girls
Our outfits are prepped, and we’ll be putting on our Sunday best to head to church to celebrate Easter with Mimi and Pappy! I cannot wait to finally wear this white Endless Rose Embroidered Dress and these strappy Splendid Jayla Sandals while the girls will be matching in these Light Blue Float Dresses and Navy Patent Mary Janes.
THREE|| Saying No Gracefully
2016… the year to “simplify”. Remember my motto?? Umm yeah, the one I am majorly failing at. That’s me indeed dear blogging readers as I am REALLY bad at taking on way too much and feeling guilty saying the dreaded “no”… luckily my BFF sent Christy Wright’s “List of 25 Ways to Say No” to me to read and I am hoping it does me some good! It just may help you too đ
FOUR || Pimento Cheese Bacon Bites
I made these goodies last weekend for a surprise sprinkle baby shower and they were a huge hit… I had been saving them for a fun occasion where boys and girls would be present since they are a bit spicey and I thought our guys would enjoy and oh my word they didn’t disappoint! I saw that you purchased the rufflebutts swim gear for your girls. I think thats what route I am going to go this year, but I always get nervous about sizing! Did you size up one or two sizes?
