Mongolian Beef with Success Rice: Success Is In The Bag

Uncategorized

July 19, 2016

This summer, I have been slacking on the cooking rotation, otherwise known as menu planning. It’s hot, humid, and by the time I get through with work and such, I am usually trying to scramble things together to come up with a dinner menu that everyone will eat AND enjoy.

I’ll be the first to admit I am all about pantry essentials, staples, and recipes I know that my family will eat and today I am here to talk about a family favorite recipe, Mongolian Beef and Rice, featuring Success® Rice

I found a copycat recipe that tastes just like the version from our friends at PF Chang’s, but a budget friendly re-do that’s oh so easy to reinvent at home. [recipe via Jo Cooks]
Our favorite item to serve with the Mongolian Beef as a side is Success® White Rice, because I don’t have to measure or make a mess and it cooks perfectly every time… AND it’s ready in just 10 minutes, too! They have four gluten free varieties, so even if you have dietary limitations, you can still enjoy their Whole Grain Brown Rice, White Rice, Thai Jasmine Rice and Basmati Rice.  It’s also conveniently packaged in pre-measured colander-style bags, gluten-free, non-GMO, and versatile for any kind of dish.

Even better, you can find it nationwide at your favorite grocery retailer [I get ours from my local Kroger] and its average price is just $2.45 so it’s an affordable and accessible option for any family.
Success Rice is the ORIGINAL option that’s convenient and can be made in a stove OR in the microwave… I keep a few in our pantry to have on-hand because my girls love their yummy rice!

Other recipes you could create that feature Success Rice include a Sausage and Rice Casserole for breakfast, a Shredded Beef Burrito Bowl for lunch, or a Chicken Poppyseed Casserole for dinner. Can you tell we like casseroles in our house?!?!?!

Be sure to join the Riceipe Club® for hundred of recipe ideas, special offers, and more.
You can find out more about Success Rice by liking their Facebook Page, following them on Twitter, checking out their Pinterest Account, and friending them on Instagram.
Interested in winning a $100 Visa gift card for your thoughts?!?!?! Leave a comment below telling me your favorite recipe that features rice… and leave a link to that recipe so we can taste it out too!

My husband and I are both vegetarian, and so trying to avoid carbs and vegetarian can sometimes be difficult. So, we try to use brown rice when we can instead of white rice, and this recipe is awesome for that. Plus, super healthy with all the proteins and vitamins from veggies.

A guilty pleasure of mine from childhood was simply called "white chicken" but I've had friends and family call it other things. Baked chicken wrapped in bacon over a layer of chipped beef (sounds weird) with a sauce of blended cream cheese, sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. It makes the most delicious, savory gravy that we serve over white rice! TOTALLY healthy. HAH!
