Adios Summer Hair || The Lemon Rinse Clarifying Treatment

Uncategorized

September 6, 2016

The good thing about summer… the heat, the sun, the salt water, well, it’s all those things that I absolutely love that also do some damage to my mane, and today I’m sharing a new product I recently discovered that will aid in reversing the damage, Lemon Rinse.

As a blonde, maybe not the au natural version, but thanks to my stylist I can claim it, my hair starts to look dull 3 to 4 weeks post-coloring, and even more so once I’ve been out in the sun, like we are in the summer, and then it starts to turn that brassy, gold/yellow color. I love my plethora of hair care products, but I notice that they start to leave that gunky-build-up, and so this clarifying treatment helps eliminate the bad and helps restart the clock back to healthy hair.

Made by Beautiful Nutrition, a company focused on using vitamins, minerals, herbs, oils, and extracts to create wonderful products, Lemon Rinse leaves my hair clean with noticeably less frizz, and brings back that shine just like when I leave the salon, and the subtle lemon scent is amazing.

It seals the hair cuticles, helps to maintain a healthy scalp, seals in moisture, and it’s made for all hair types, including those of us with color-treated hair.

My favorite part?? The price… you can buy the full size Lemon Rinse for $10 and it’s simple to use… shampoo + condition as usual, and then saturate your hair from root to tip with the treatment… allow it to remain on for a few seconds before rinsing. They also recommend you continue using once or twice a week to keep your hair healthy! I don’t have the time to add on a lengthy process of any kind to my normal getting-ready routine, but 1 minute I can manage…

Want to find it online for purchase?? Check out their listing of retailers here, including Ulta, Amazon, and Target. And visit their website to find a comprehensive detailing of their products, too.
