Beautycounter Enrich Body Butter. Life is short, use the body butter! My skin has a tendency to get extremely dry during the colder months [ewww right?!/1], so this thick formula moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated and looking smooth, even when I might forget to shave my legs ;). It lasts forever and smells clean, yet still fragrant, and you only need a bit to do the trick.
I’ve heard incredible review about Rose Oils from friends, so I finally got some of my own. The variety I’ve been testing out is the PIXI Beauty Rose Oil Blend and I can already tell a difference in the way my skin feels AND looks. It helps keeps my face super smooth and I have been adding a few drops to my face moisturizer for a little “glow”.
Essie Winter Shades Nail Polish. I’m ALL for fall and winter colors on the nails, so much so that I started choosing darker shades back in August because I was ready and willing… Essie just released new shades for the holiday season and three favorites I brought home are Party on a Platform, Getting Groovy [oh yes that’s gold] and Satin Sister.
I have also been testing out some new options in medical grade products and I’m really liking this Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Eye Recovery Gel. Anti-aging, with nourishing peptides that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eyes AND diminishes dark under eye circles. What sold me was the pricetag at under $30 and I’ve been pleased with it so far!
Finally, I was introduced to Junetics a few months ago from my friend Keisha and I couldn’t wait to test out some of their beauty products. I started off with the Pure Energy Day Serum, which works to hydrate your skin throughout the day AND it improves the application of your makeup.. yes, a two-in-one, so you KNOW I love that. Plus, it’s lightweight and helps combat aging, a cause near and dear to all of us.
SOOOO, tell me… what’s in your beauty bag of tricks as of late??? Tell me all about your favs!
I love love love the MAC Prep + Prime! I got the travel size a few years ago during my Bachelorette party and the smaller size lasted me a really long time. This past time, I bought the bigger size and just refill my smaller bottle because its small and I can easily throw it in my makeup bag when I'm traveling. It's the only setting spray that I'll use!
OK i am totally going to have to steal that idea for when i travel… genius!!!!
Have you heard of or tried any of the MHD Beauty products? It's a local business here in Nashville. Madison (owner/founder) did the hair & makeup for the wedding I was in this past weekend and used her products and I was sold; they're natural, long-lasting, pretty colors and great textures — I'm totally going to set up a makeup lesson with her to learn some more techniques (it's just a minimum product purchase to do so!) in the coming weeks to get ready for holiday parties.
ohhh i haven't… i'm going to have to look into these!!!! let me know how it goes…thanks Kelly 🙂
