I’ve shopped with Marks and Spencer for months now, I am officially hooked… and I think you should be, too. One. Make Sure You’re Checking the Sizing Chart for Reference.
Marks and Spencer has made it super simple and created a page exclusively dedicated to Size Charts. You can break it down by category and gender, and then pay close attention to their sizing… some are listed in UK, some in US so be sure you’re ordering your true size! You can check length, bust, and waist in CM and INCHES. For general reference, I order the UK 6, which translates to the US 2.
Two. Read the Product Star Rating and Customer Reviews.
Nothing helps me when I am shopping online more than when I click to read what other customers are saying about any given item I am looking to purchase. Some can be tricky to interpret and some are obviously skewed, but for the most part, I have found this to be an honest and insightful way to learn what I need to know and whether or not it’s getting added to my cart or staying online.
Three. Take a Chance and Try Something New.
Since I am pretty petite [I’m 5’4″ in height], I rarely try midi dresses because I always feel like they cut me off and make me look shorter and wider, BUT I fell in love with this Floral Midi Dress online and gave it a shot and it’s one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things I’ve ordered from Marks and Spencer. Four. Their Baby + Kids Collection is AMAZING
I’ve been super impressed with the quality of everything I have ordered for myself, but hands down–the best of the best is the Kids Collection. It reminds me a lot of Mini Boden and Joules, but for a fraction of the price. The quality is really good, the details [including sequins and embroidery] are well made, and the silhouettes of the dresses and rompers are absolutely adorable! Caroline and Carson both love everything I have scooped up for them and they have helped us add a ton of essentials to their wardrobes for back-to-school, too.
