**thank you to eBay for sponsoring this post… thrilled to collaborate together for everything holiday this season and it’s partnerships like these that continue to make this creative space a possibility–all thoughts, written content and imagery belongs to Hello Happiness**
Bake me up a piece of that… yum yum sugar cookie season is here!!! Yes, it’s a tradition at our house that we always bake up a ton of yummy, sugary sweet cookies before the big guy comes and this year is no different… and of course that involves plenty of sprinkles + icing, too.
From holiday tablescapes to seasonal decor for every inch of your home, eBay has you covered to make sure you save money, all while decking the halls to make this your best Christmas yet! Today we are talking all things that help get your kitchen prepped for holiday baking, but still work all year long as your cooking partner-in-crime AKA best friend ever.
One of the best gifts I’ve ever been given is our KitchenAid Pro Mixer… it was like unwrapping my first big piece of art because it made me feel like an adult AND I knew it was something I would have forever. Plus, it’s so pretty I don’t mind leaving it out on the counter either–haha it’s true!!
We’ve made SO many tasty treats with this mixer–from cookies and desserts to pasta, sauces and more, there is nothing it can’t do… it also comes with a spiral dough hook, flat beater and wire whip so you can bust out some pretty incredible dishes as soon as you open it! Even better, I was able to find it on Bay for just $259 [though it retails for $399–yes friends, that’s 35% off]. You know I love a good sale find and this is one so many would be thrilled to open up on December 25th.
Another fun tradition I began years ago is collecting the Spode Holiday China… I had always wanted Christmas-themed china and it’s a collection I love so very much–whimsical, vintage-esque with plenty of color and of course the girls love eating on these pretties every night during the holidays! From mugs to dessert plates to serving dishes and more, there are endless options of this collection and it’s a sentimental heirloom I can pass down to my girls once they have homes of their very own someday.
This season, I am eyeing the Peppermint Candy Cane Serving Dish and the Christmas Tree Serving Platter and hoping these porcelain pieces come my way soon!
What I love about shopping with eBay is that you’ve got billions [yes I said BILLIONS] of shoppable items at your fingertips, but they make it easy to grab everything you need for holiday entertaining for all your guests in a one-stop shop. Did you know that over 80% off all merchandise on eBay is NEW and almost 90% of the items have the “Buy it Now” option–this makes eBay one of my go-to destinations, especially during the holidays–I’m not having to bid on items anymore, I can simply shop them quickly and easily and they arrive to my door within days!
You can create your very own Winter Wonderland all with eBay… I had also been eyeing a KitchenAid Food Processor and since I have everyrthing sweet and savory on my mind, I decided the $49 pricetag [regularly $99] was just too good for me to pass up. Plus, if you’re eyeing something to gift the cook of the family this Christmas, this makes it super simple to make your own juices, smoothies, and so much more–afterall, lots of us will have health + wellness on the brain come January! Then grab them a festive Southern Baked Cookbook and a set of these Spruce Holiday Kitchen Mitts and call their Christmas complete.
And don’t forget to grab my FAVORITE cleaning companion, the Dyson Cordless Vacuum, once all the tinsel and tangle comes down–you can put your little elves to work and get a little rest after Santa comes for his annual visit! Just tell them it’s the hottest toy in town [and yes it is if you’re a mom like me–haha].
