Just when you thought we were staying at home for a bit, we’ve officially jet-setted off to our next destination… sunny California for Jeff’s cousin’s wedding in Morgan Hill. With that being said, I thought that made for the perfect segway to talk travel style and how to make the most of your summer vacations, with everything under the sun from Walmart and their We Dress America collection. Which helps style everyone in your family from hubbies to kids to yourselves too ladies!
First up, let’s talk about the proper travel attire… if you’re like me, when you’re dressed in your pajamas in public you’re surely going to run into at least 5 people you know. SO let’s take it up a notch for your travel OOTD, while still feeling like you’re in your comfiest casual ensemble.
Case in point, this We Dress America Time and Tru V-Neck Pocket Tee is a steal for just $7 and it comes in 10+ colors so it’s an everyday essential every closet needs. I’m wearing a size small for reference and I absolutely love the fit. I then paired the simple t-shirt with these Classic Cream Sonja Pants that were made for summer and the price of a mere $34 had me doing a double take because the fit and quality of these is out-of-this-world good! I’m wearing a size 0 and if white isn’t your thing, they also come in black.
What I also love about both of these separates is that they are ready to wear, machine washable, and pack well, even with your carry-on so you can look cool and collected on your next adventure. Finally, for the bottom half, I added these cute Circus by Sam Edelman Nicola Bow Sandals [run TTS and only $50] and these stylish slides won’t be an issue next time I’m going through TSA at the airport!

Next up, let’s discuss the perfect overnight duffel bag. This EV1 Large Weekender Bag has become my go-to for overnight travel and I love that it comes in this fun olive green colorway as well as camo and marshmallow, too. I couldn’t believe the $18 price tag and how much I can store in it. It features two inside pockets as well as dual side straps and a longer, adjustable length shoulder strap. So, it’s built to store all your prized possessions when you’re on the go. If your kids are off to camp this summer, it would make a versatile bag for them as well!
If you’re going for an extended stay somewhere tropical [can you tell I’ve got the beach on my mind??], then I would hands down recommend this iFly Hardside Luggage Three-Piece Set. I used this for our Disney Cruise, and two-week Italian adventure and it’s been the best luggage I’ve ever owned. Plus, the fact that you can score three pieces for under $200 is just icing on the cake! I opted for the Rose Gold, while my Mimi grabbed the Gold. But if neutrals are more your thing, it also comes in Black and Grey, too.
