I think the majority of you out there already know this… I’ve been bombarded seeing it all over social media too, so I won’t spend too much of your precious time going over all the pertinent details. I’ll be the first one to admit that this is one of the times during the year I MAJORLY stock up when it comes to shopping. Especially when it comes to basics, booties, athletic gear, and beauty. Just a few of my favorite categories included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Having said that, I am making a plan to ONLY purchase items I know I will wear and truly need when I start shopping next week. So just like in years’ past, I’ve made my must-have checklist of what I’m looking for:

So, what do you need to know if this is your first rodeo in shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
First and most importantly, what is this sale all about?
Basically, it’s like Black Friday, but BETTER. Most retailers mark down old merchandise, but this sale gives you the opportunity to shop the NEWEST Nordstrom arrivals/specialty items before the fall season with merchandise that has yet to hit the sales floor! It’s the best way to go ahead and stock your wardrobe in every way. From shoes to handbags to outerwear, apparel and more.
How can I be among the first to shop the sale?
If you’re a Nordstrom card holder, you get to shop ONE WEEK earlier than the general shopping audience, beginning on Friday, July 12th at 12:30PM Eastern. That means you’ve still got time to apply for a card HERE and make it happen. Trust me, it’s worth it with all of the perks. Like free $60 Nordstrom note, personal shopping days, and so much more.
