First in rotation is giving me all the summer vibes by way of this Sleeveless Ruffle Hem Dress. Made of 100% cotton, it’s impeccably chic and stylish in a silhouette that is super flattering for warm days and cool nights. The crisp stripes are classic in their own right, but add in the ruffle hem, tassel neck and bottom lace detail and you’ve got one dress obsessed ensemble. As for today’s second striped outfit of the day, I give you the most adorable mix and match separates I’ve seen in months. This was my first attempt at shorts and a matching blouse from Sail to Sable and I cannot tell you HOW amazing this Stripe Neck Cowl Top is paired with the coordinating Stripe Sailor Shorts. You can totally dress these striped separates up in a handful of ways, depending on your mood, but the cowl neck tank is super special and one of their best-selling styles season after season. The ponte knit fabrication with gold button back is something you’ll want to wear over and over again!
As for the shorts, these sailor-inspired bottoms bring all the retro vibes– I’ve paired it with the tank to match, but you can totally dress it down with a simple white tee for a casual and relaxed look. With a slightly high waist silhouette, back zipper closure and functional pockets, these shorts were made to be mine. I’m wearing an XS in both the top and bottoms for reference.
