Star Seeker Brushed Heart Pajama Set [only $54/wearing size small]
An all new week means an all new installment of my new favorite series “5 Things with Natasha”. No, it’s apparent we don’t need some fancy name to get our point across. Last week was all about the Easy Everynight Dinners and for this time, I thought I’d give some love to the drugstore beauty brands that I use on the regular… those finds that won’t break the bank and still do their thing!!
Some of these are finds that have been a part of my beauty routine for years, and a few fresh newbies I’m loving as of late as well:
Cerave Face Wash | Biore Charcoal Strips | Dry Shampoo + Dry Conditioner | Eyelash Primer | Lip Color
Best Drugstore Beauty Products
I’m all for prepping when it comes to makeup application and my lashes are included in that ritual… I’ve been using this Lash Blast Primer for a few years and I’m an addict… it is easy to apply on your lide BEFORE your mascara and helps to lengthen and give instant look of bigger, fuller lashes. At just $7.99 it’s a major win that will help your mascara last all day AND night.
TWO. NYX Instant Plump Lip Color
I’ve been a longtime addict of this inexpensive but effective brand, specifically their lip glosses including colors Creme Brulee and Eclair . But recently they launched a new instant plumping color in a glossy lipstick formula–at just $7.99, they have some SUPER color options [I grabbed Besos and Juicy Pout] and I’m loving the long-lasting application, slight gloss effect and the instant pop of pump!
THREE. Pantene Dry Shampoo and Dry Conditioner
I chatted about these finds a few weeks ago in my Target Thursday roundup and since then, I’ve been using them almost everyday in between washes to keep my hair looking good! The dry shampoo is a fine mist that smells great, has just enough texture in it to build body and remove excess dirt and the conditioner is a new category to test out–one that you spray into your hair from the middle to the ends that is great at removing the frizz and giving you instant sleek shine power. At just $6.99 each, these should be added to your cart immediately!
FOUR. CeraVe Face Wash
My friend and skincare guru Maegan via SkinPharm gave me this useful tip years ago and it’s carried me through many face washes since. She said if she was out of her go-to cleanser or needed something inexpensive to do a great job, Cerave was a great, budget friendly find that even the professionals swear by. I like the foaming style for normal/oily skin and at $10, it is a good product to keep in your guest bathroom for overnight visitors, too.
FIVE. Biore Charcoal Strips
OK, now I know the charcoal strips were all the rage years ago, but Biore recently came out with a new option, this time including deep cleaning charcoal into the ingredient list. Not going to lie, I LOVE doing these as part of self-care Sunday and sometimes I can convince the hubby to do them with me. Get ride of those blackhead and excess oil ASAP! Just $5.99 gets you on your way to cleaner skin as the charcoal acts like a magnet to lift out deep-down dirt.
I used to LOVE Biore pore strips… I haven’t used them in awhile, but maybe I should try them out again! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
