Fall Break is calling and so is the beach!!!! Hands down our favorite time to head south to 30a for a little rest + relaxation and fun in the sun, it’s only fitting I am sharing a handful of our family’s personal favorites when it comes to all things eat, drink and entertainment since it’s home away from home. Bookmark this blog post friends! The coastal highway is packed full of all ghe good stuff amd the best part is the stretch of picturesque towns just waiting to be explored…

George’s | A gem found in Alys Beach, this is one that we make sure to visit each time we’re in 30a. It offers a casual environment and plenty of outdoor seating too. Do yourself a favor and order the lobster quesadilla!

La Crema | If you love tapas this is the spot for you. It’s one of my personal favorites for all things atmosphere and food and let’s not leave out.. the chocolate! Oh yes, the are known for all their sweet treats like the chocolate fondue!

Amavida | Our go-to for all the coffee runs. this little local favorite is housed in the Rosemary Beach square and features all things coffee, teas and small bites.

Citizen | When we are looking for oysters, this is where we go! Citizen is open for lunch and dinner and offers coastal fare with a fun and vibrant atmosphere. They have a raw bar, outdoor seating, and the best whipped feta appetizer you can’t miss out on!

Playa Bowls | For all you açaí bowl lovers like me, this place takes the cake. they also offer smoothies, juices, coffees, and poke bowls and their menu is huge.. meaning you must go more than just once!
Havana Beach | A classic in the town of Rosemary, this iconic hotel houses one of our favorite fare options Havana that offers delicious food and great views too. the Mandy burger is a regular order in our family!

The Red Bar | If you know me you already know this is at the top of my list. It’s a local favorite found in Grayton Beach that is all things beach shack vibes but with the best food in town. The grouper is so good we get it every time we go!

Cowgirl Kitchen | A more casual favorite that serves up southwestern style selections you’ll love. they have the best salads, sandwiches, and pizza in a casual setting great for an afternoon bite

Paradis | This is another one of our favorites for dinner, it’s a seafood focused menu in an upscale atmosphere. Make note that they are only accepting reservations at the moment so no walk-ins here!

Gallion’s | This is a new spot in the square that’s serving up coastal fare and craft cocktails in an adults only setting perfect for date night or a ladies lunch

Pescado | You’ve probably heard of this one as it has become very popular but for good reason. They offer an array of seafood favorites and the best views in town. It’s great for pre dinner drinks or a meal as well

Amigos/Amici | A dynamic duo you will love as much as we do, these sister restaurants offer mexican (amigos) and italian (amici) fare that is oh so delicious in an indoor/outdoor atmostphere

Perfect Pig | A place our family frequents for breakfast, southern favorites with a spin is what you’ll find here and it doesn’t disappoint! A great stop to start your day but they have lunch and dinner as well

GiGi’s | For all your kids clothing, toys, and accessories pop into GiGi’s in the heart of Rosemary Beach
Willow | After shopping for the kids, you’ll be ready to buy yourself a few things so head over to Willow some favorites to add to your closet
Rosemary Beach Trading Company | You can’t leave without getting a famous Rosemary Beach tee and this is where you’ll find it, along with accessories and trinkets
Disco | All your favorite colorfully fun brands in one place, stock up on all the gifts, jewelry, clothing and accessories in this bedazzled beauty
Bombora Sun & Surf | For all things you need for fun in the sun, stop by this storefront in Rosemary Beach where you’ll find swimwear, gear, and accessories for the family
Ducky’s | A true “shop of fun” carrying all things kids clothes, toys, games, and accessories they can’t live without! You won’t walk out empty-handed [and I say this from plenty of experience]
Seaside Mercantile | For american made, cause-related merch, visit this local spot for stocking up on gifts, jewelry, and more!
Shop LMN | Found in Peddler’s Pavilion, this is a shop I can count on for boutique brands and the cutest styles! They have a fun selection of clothing, jewelry and accesorries I know you will love it too
Boat Charter | Florida Boy Adventures is something fun the entire family can enjoy! My girls love to head out to the bay for some easy fishing with their daddy… such a fun way to do something different when you’re down at the beach and still enjoy all that the ocean has to offer… P.S. you can cook dinner with what you catch so a win for the entire family, too
Bamboo Bicycle Company | Our family’s favorite way to see all of the towns along 30a is to hop on for some fresh air and see where the pedal takes us on a tour! Get some exercise to burn off those bloody mary’s and rent your bike before you arrive.
Beach Bonfire | There are a handful of companies that specialize in catering to your beachside bonfire needs… whether you’re looking for a chic boho setup, traditional smores and such, or just the best way to watch that gorgeous sunset take place, be sure to book early as they only have a limited number per night
Charcuterie Party | For when you don’t want to cook and you’re too relaxed to get ready to head out to dinner, Blue Magnolia makes the BEST charcuteries in town! Seasonal plates, breakfast and dessert options and even catering, you won’t be disappointed!
Family Photos | You know you simply cannot come to the beach without documenting the good stuff and that’s where my dear friend Amy Riley comes into play! She has taken our family’s pics since the girls were tiny tots and she will forever be our go-to for the best imagery along 30a… perfect for getting those images for your Christmas cards, new and noteworthy pictures for framing your halls and savoring the sweet times at your fav place
