our annual fall bucket list

Family + Kids

October 4, 2022

I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers… and if you love classic lit, you’ll know who said that! It couldn’t be more true = I could bypass September all together just so I can get to all things fall. The leaves are changing colors, the crispness of the mornings, breaking out sweater weather… this is what fall is all about and so is executing all things on our fall family bucket list. Keeping it simple this year and trying not to overdo it, but rather focus on the things we enjoy the most TOGETHER!

There are so many ways to enjoy the season…. whip up a homemade apple cider [here is a recipe that looks delish], bake a new fall holiday sweet treat [check out these cinnamon apple pancakes we made last week], visit your local pumpkin patch for festive fun with a hayride and corn maze and bring home all the gourds for your front porch and of course = make sure you watch all those beloved Halloween movies on repeat!

Local friends, here are a few favorite Nashville festivities and events not to miss:

cheekwood harvest | cheekwood botanical garden is a great destination any time of year but especially for fall. they transform the property into a magical oasis that is full of all things family fun

lucky ladd farms | find all the fall fun in one place at this farm. from corn mazes to pumpkin patches, pony rides, sunflowers and more this is the one stop shop for a day of family activities

tennessee fall craft fair | walk through endless tents of local tennessee artists and their handmade treasures all housed at centennial park

booze at the zoo | an adults only outing at the zoo that consists of boos and booze! enjoy cocktail vendors, live music, animal encounters and more!

pumpkinfest franklin | downtown franklin hosts an annual pumpkin fest that you don’t want to miss. it’s totally free and hosts tons of vendors, live entertainment, and children’s activities for fun for the whole family.
