More home content coming right up… that’s a BIG goal for me this year and one I am excited to bring you along for. Next up??? Carson’s bedroom refresh. She’s been begging for a change, especially after we finished Caroline’s room early last fall, but of course my little diva has lots of opinions on what she wants vs. things to stay away from.
If you’re new here, you can see her original “big girl” room reveal here back in 2017. She was all things obsessed with yellow at that time, which is why we went bold with her bed and it’s still one of my most favorite components of her room. However, she said she really wants an upholstered bed, so we will see what we come up with. It’s also officially time to bid adieu to her glider, the giraffe bust, and she wants to paint some original art with my friend Kelly Terrell Art like her big sister, too.
The first thing we started with is this GORGEOUS Schumacher Elias Fabric in Red and Pink. It just arrived a few weeks ago and we are working with Jennifer via Brave Meggie Designs to craft the perfect custom drapery and window hardware, as well as a few fabulous pillows, too. Because yes, everything is better with some big, bold printed pretties in my mind.
My little deisgner and I sat down last weekend to formulate some ideas she wants to incorporate and then we crafted a fun vision board of a high-level look at what her new tween boudoir will look like. Another fun project I get to tackle with one of my daughters and excited to bring you along for this home design adventure. Stay tuned for all the fun to come!
