The Best Photo Spots in Nashville

Travel

February 22, 2023

I’m a unicorn… otherwise known as a native Nashvillian, which we are becoming harder and harder to spot these days and that’s definitely beacuse due to the influx of residents moving here at a rapid pace from all over the country. It’s crazy to see this sweet little city turn into a metropolitan mecca almost overnight, but I am also thankful for the growth and excitement because it definitely makes it a fun place to live. I know many of you are planning upcoming trips to Music City, so I thought I’d write up a post highlighting some of the best places in Nashville to take photos… because trust me, there are a TON of highlights you’ll want to hit up when you’ve got your paparazzi in town [or your bestie with a travel tripod to act as your photog].

Here is a list of XXX places to snap some shots next time you visit:

The Pedestrian Bridge

On a beautiful sunny day in Music City it is a must to take yourself on an afternoon walk across the Pedestrian Bridge to get fantastic views of Downtown Nashville! It is officially closed to vehicles so no need to worry about cars, you can just walk freely across to the other side, and enjoy yourself along the way with the architecture, green spaces, and views for days!!

Printers Alley

need to find Evereve pictures – Printers Alley is a must in Downtown Nashville! It has some of the best nightlife- which includes Karaoke (Miss Kellies), Jazz Clubs, and murals up and down the street. The atmosphere is lively and diverse, you will definitely not be disappointed! Be sure to take photos of this electric street at night and all of the lights!

12th South

12 South is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Nashville! It is the perfect combination of Eat, Shop, and Play. I highly recommend checking out the infamous Buttermilk Ranch for brunch- the bakery is next level good! Or Wanna Spoon Cereal Bar, that has 20+ kinds of cereals to choose from and you can create your own yummy personalized bowl. If you want a more calm and cute area away from Broadway check out the adorable 12 South, be sure to make a reservation before you go to eat! Almost every building has different art on the walls that make exceptional backdrops for photos!

Downtown Franklin

Downtown Franklin is a community with all the charm! When you are there you must explore all of the small businesses, good food, and rich history. There is so much to do as there are more than 70 unique shops, restaurants, art galleries, book stores, and boutiques! There is also an awesome Festival on every first Friday of each month, that will give you an ultimate taste of local breweries along with some great music! Perfect for a vintage-esque photo look and feel!

East Nashville

East Nashville is located across from the Cumberland River from Downtown Nashville, also known as 5 Points. East Nash definitely has more of an artsy, quirky vibe! This area is known for its art, upbeat bars, beloved creatives, and trendy restaurants- it is a must if you love good food and drinks, and want photos with a raw artistic look, get creative and have fun with it!

The Gulch

The gulch is in the heart of Nashville, and is an upscale neighborhood with chic hotels, boutiques, and trendsetting restaurants! You must take a photo in front of the infamous wings- get ready for the line though! You can make your way to Milk and Honey after for Breakfast that is near them! There are beautiful walls with art, that give a fresh and clean look to any photo you take in the Gulch!

others?? Emily to add brief descriptions to locations, etc
