5, 4, 3, 2, 1… I just put on that out of office email reminder and dang it feels good. To be honest, it’s very rare for me to actually “take off” considering my career is practically a 24/7 type of job, but sometimes you’ve got to step away, embrace the time away which in turn makes it all the more fun to come back to work. For two people in sales, it’s very challenging for Jeff and I to step away from the technology, but a little less cell phone signal down in the Florida Keys is going to do a body [and soul] good!
You will surely be a head turner in this beautifully colored Juliet Dunn Dress! That orchid colorway I can never get enough of… for starters this floral palette is to die for and so chic, it is the perfect pop of perfection for spring time, too. It features a button down front, short puff sleeves, finished with tiny ric rac edging that always has my heart, and a comfortable elastic waist with bow detail. This dress is so versatile and can be worn anywhere from the beach and to a summer dinner in the city! ++runs TTS, wearing size small++
We all know my ensembles are never properly complete without all the extras so let’s chat about these pretty spring + summer essentials. This Crescent Straw Handbag is easy on the eyes AND the wallet with its $35 pricetag. One of my fav Target finds from 2023 so far, it offers a ton of storage and the woven detailing makes it an easy style to travel with as well.
And yes, onto the special little sandals… the Dolce Vita Ashby Heels in Cafe Stella. Not only are they comfortable + cute, but the versatile neutral colorway means they are the only heels you’ll need to pack because they go with everything in your suitcase. So many color options including a fun raffia variety available online, too! ++these run TTS/grab your normal shoe size++
Now that I’ve gotten started on the outfit planning, it’s time to tackle the other essentials… my proper packing list, complete with my colorful hard side luggage, a lightweight portable speaker for turning on some relaxing beach music, a trusty apple air tag to keep everything on track when in the air, and of course travel bags for storing everything in its proper place. Oh yes… that one other must-have: the luggage scale = speaking from experience on weighing BEFORE you get to the airport to save you money and a hassle from your husband 😉
You know our motto: work hard, play harder. I’m officially checking out for some much needed rest + relaxation with the kids and Jeff, but taking you along for the ride over on Instagram stories for Spring Break!!! Hope you all have an amazing week as well and I’ll be back before you know it… OXOX
