1. This morning, I had client positioning meetings downtown–hello, 5 minutes from our house. Although I like having the benefit of working in a suburb of Nashville so I can run errands and “Target” during lunch, I can’t help but daydream about working downtown…being able to carpool with Jeff everyday and rendezvous for mid-day cofee and lunch dates would be so much fun
2. My Christmas cards arrived today… I didn’t think I would be very satisfied with them considering I waited until the last minute to order, but I LOVE and can’t wait to send them off to friends and family {and yes, I’ll post, too!}–yay for Shutterfly!
3. Christmas is only 10 days away–I was SO on top of my game this year until I started making my weekly daily to-do list and realized I still have lots to accomplish before Santa time–ugh oh…guess I will be one of those crazy lunatic people I usually can’t tolerate
4. I need a new book to read…any suggestions?? I have almost officially given up on Eat.Pray.Love {sorry Julia} and I need a GOOD read to occupy my time
5. I found out some people I never thought would ever read my blog tune in weekly to see what’s going on in our lives…not that it matters, but it kinda made my day–in other words, thanks!
6. Somehow, I can avoid my sweet tooth for most of the year, however, when I have homemade chocolate cake, sopapilla cheesecake, and peppermint bark at my becking call in my kitchen, I just simply cannot say no… YIKES!
7. I am ready to get my holiday movie fix at the movie box office–I doubt I can con Jeff into taking me to see Black Swan this weekend, so Morning Glory will have to suffice
8. More bad/wintery weather is supposedly headed our way tonight–crossing my fingers it passes right through or doesn’t get cold enough to ice over… I am not Scrooge, but I don’t get snow days so I need to be able to get to work safely please!!
All for now, enjoy the rest of your Wednesday friends!! đ
I'd go see Black swan with you if I lived in TN!!! No way i can drag my man to see that or Morning Glory đ ha. sometimes i go to the movies alone! It's not so bad. you get used to it.
Ahh peppermint bark! I really want to make some this year.
I can see why it would be fun working in downtown Nashville. My favorite part about working and living in downtown San Diego was walking around the city on my lunch break and popping into the shops!
Have you read The Help? I just finished it and I loved it! So interesting!
Your giving up on Eat, Pray, Love? ::sigh:: one of my all time faves…How about Unbroken by Laura Hilenbrand. and I totally feel you on the yummy snacks all around right now…. cant.stop.eating.them!
I am on the same boat when it comes to Eat, Love, Pray.. I'm still in Italy!!
I am hoping to finish this winter break.
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah is such a wonderful book! It's an easy read (although it's thick), and it really is a book about friendship and struggles. I'm such a book worm, I haven't read a Kristin Hannah book I don't like. LOOVE it!
Go to this link for some great book ideas. Also since this isn't a list of all the books I have read, I would suggest anything by Jodi Picoult. She is an amazing writer and always keeps you guessing. Good luck finding a book.

I've been dying to see Black Swan, but it's been sold out at most movie theatres in NY now for weeks! BUMMER! Although I've also been dying to see Morning Glory — so enjoy! đ
The Help is a great book.
I am totally over Eat Pray Love too I only read like 3 chapters it was boring..
We second the help. Both of us have read it and loooved it.
