The year of MORE… that is what is on trend in the world of home decor and design for 2023. And you know this color-loving lady is here for this so-called more movement.
I’ve told you that a big focus + overall shift for my content this year is everything home, design and decor and I’m delivering in a big way today, sharing a ton of new arrivals from Amazon Home in all the colors of the rainbow to add some happy to your home.
Starting off with some mellow yellow, let’s discuss the happiest hue in town… it’s a bold way to integrate some sunshine into your space and also step outside your comfort zone a bit as well. From art to furniture, coffee table books, pillows and more, there is something in any shade to suit your fancy!
Shopping for something a bit more feminine?? That’s where us pink lovers to come to play! From rugs that pack a punch with subtle vintage vibes to bright hues in colorful art and decor, there is always a reason to add some pink to your Amazon cart…
When friends tell me they aren’t quite ready to jump head first into crazy colors, that’s when green comes into the mix. It can be a perfect match for masculine meets modern, yet still adds some visual interest to any scenario… bold lamps are always a fun way for me to make a move into color without going all in AND it’s a hue that still spells timeless taste.
How do you feel RIGHT NOW?? If you’re looking to take a walk on the wild, orange is a great experientnal factor for design. It takes a certain willingness to stand out [heck yes!] but it also goes a long way, so small accents are a way to incorporate without venturing out of your comfort zone. Weave in some decor, a patterned rug or stackable boxes for a proper vignette and your eyes will thank you for it!
Finally, what’s a color roundup without some necessary blue? It’s calming and cool and a tone that we can all agree on… yes even those guys with little to no design expertise. Colorful table accents, glassware, woven lights = it’s all fair game when you bring on the blue:
The main takeaway?? Make your home feel unique and personal to YOU… not what’s on trend at any given moment or what everyone else is posting on social media because those “favorites” will fade and you’ll constabtly be changing your decor, which can in turn prove to be quite costly. I always search Pinterest for added inspiration, check out complementary colors for pairing warm and cool tones together, but most of all LOVE what is inside the walls of your home. It’s your happy place 😉
