March Madness

wedding

March 22, 2010

Yay! I am back to me again… thank you SOOO MUCH to all of you who sent sweet messages and get well notes… that was so thoughtful and really helped my mood ,as last week was really a difficult one in the life of me–today is my last checkup at the doctor and I am hoping for a clean bill of health so I can stay away from their offices for quite some time! {and I am DYING to get back to the gym–I haven’t been able to run since last Wednesday and my legs are ready to run!!}
What a weekend… for the most part, the weather was nice here in Nashville. Was it a relaxing weekend? No, but it was a great one spent with lots of friends and for that I am thankful. Friday night, Jeff and I set up our guest bedroom {so overnight visitors are welcome!}, cooked dinner, walked around the neighborhood, and just took it easy.
Saturday morning I got up and baked away, cleaned the house {ok so wood floors are extremely difficult to keep clean}, and then Meg and I went to Amber’s bridal shower… so much fun!!
Her gift you ask?? A floating wood frame with letters that spell out her soon-to-be last name!!
I hope you loved it Amber =)

Afterwards, we headed home to meet the boys who had been watching basketball all day.. speaking of, my bracket at work is completely HORRIBLE, but I don’t mind because the VOLS are in the Sweet 16 and that makes me one happy girl!! We met everyone at Lauren’s house for pizza and drinks before the big birthday partay for Lauren and Jeff–so much fun and I think they had a great time celebrating!!
Birthday shots for Lauren and Jeff
Rachel, Meg, and Me {Sober Sally AGAIN!!}
These boys had a little too much fun…
Me and My Birthday Boy
Lauren and Her Daddy… Awww so sweet!!
Sunday was spent running errands, taking advantage of Gap’s Friends and Family Discount {ugh oh!}, cooking dinner, and watching some TV on our new family room furniture–it was great!!! All in all, a fantastic weekend and I’m counting down the days so we can venture to Knoxville this weekend to see a special someone I have COMPLETELY missed… =)
