Wedding Wednesday… The Caterer

wedding

June 2, 2010

Finally! Another BIG checkmark on my wedding list is complete… we booked out caterers–wahoo, yippee, thank the Lord! What an arduous process this has been, to say the least.
It started out more than a month ago–interviewing a few catering companies that were on our approved reception venue list. Starting out, Jeff and I had a fairly good idea regarding the food we want to serve at our wedding, though we didn’t know what to expect with pricing, service charges, etc. In the end, we had a decision to make as it came down to two of my favorite places and as other brides are well aware, sometimes it all comes down to your gut feeling…as well as price.

We are SO EXCITED to have Chef’s Market as our wedding caterer!  As one of my favorite places to eat for lunch, I have eaten at Chef’s regularly ever since I started working in North Nashville as it is one of the best and tastiest options in town. Theire options are endless, and their catering is even more impressive! Coming highly recommended from friends who had used them for their weddings, I knew I had to meet and see what all the fuss is about…
It’s going to be wonderful! They are extremely well-known for their tasty Southern concoctions as well as their presentation and I know they won’t disappoint… here is just a sampling of some of their creative displays:

Even better, {and maybe a little ESP here} but Ashley’s Bride Guide just featured Chef’s Market on her blog… see the interview here
